DC penalty need to be increased

Played the doctor to get a challenge done. Oddly I am doing well on no less haddonfield and low and behold they DC, DC, DC, hatch. Oh so much fun. Oh the greatest thing of the game is nerf the killer buff the survivor's, survivor don't like the killer or how the game is going DC. 5 minutes as a penalty oh look they que up again and again and do it over and over. Yeah very fun BHVR 5 minutes should stack until no DC for 24 hours I don't care if a storm hit or your connection is bad its fair for everyone who DC.

    DCs already increase per DC in a time period.

    Then this needs to be a higher timer because I have seen it only be 5m and I was even nice enough to let the last survivor try and finish all the gens. But nope.

    I think it is fine.

    Accidental dc or two once in a while gets a slap on the wrist while people who dc often get bigger penalties.

    It goes straight from 5mins to 15 then 30 (I think?) etc. Then it resets gradually every 24h, if I am correct. Like from 30mins to 0 in 3 days.

    No the penalties need to go and get out of the game forever don't need them it's annoying. Devs remove them.

    The problem with DC penalties is that there is no way of the system why there was a DC. Take the recent Steam outages, a lot of people got disconnected and had penalties for something that was out of their control. Then there are other genuine reasons to DC, some people have families, phone calls, somebody at the door, not all players are teenagers, able to sit and play without being disturbed. Some people have poor internet, or service issues. Some people have PC crashes.

    On the flip side their are the sore losers, the killers that disconnect at 4 gens and only a few hooks, or the survivor that disconnects when they have been hooked, because the they can't lose the killer.

    All these people have the same penalty, do they all deserve the penalty? In my opinion no. If you lose the penalty then people can just disconnect when things don't go their way. If you extend then it affects genuine people. You can't stop people rage quitting, it's just life the same as you can't stop toxic players.

    I think DC timer should be 10mins at base and increase incrementally from there.

    The current base is too low imho and not enough of a deterrent.

    Also, I feel DCs should give auto stacks to both BBQ (1) and WGLF (2) for each DC (up to max 4).

    DCs seem to mainly be used to either screw the killer of stacks or just screw the remaining survivors in general.

    While the "Quitter Bonus" was a nice thought it doesnt go far enough in making up for what has been lost...

    i think currently it hits that sweet spot where legitimate DCs are not punished while those who abuse it get what's coming to them.
