Do generators need to be reworked?
Yeah, in my opinion yes currently MMR shows this Gens go too fast, killer brings meta slowdown, gens still go with killer not camping or tunneling, killer camps and tunnels, survivors bring second chances, killer uses only the strong, survivors do SWFs for lame DBD gameplay. All because of how gens work. They can’t be increased in time because that would make survivor gameplay stale and they need a shakeup. So rework them maybe you need items to get the repair going or something. Maybe a puzzle or something to make gens more interactive. Anything at this point

I had a game going against a Bubba the other day, all gens done within 4 and a half minutes without toolboxes, unless someone found one in a chest.
I would prefer secondary objectives though, if not in all games then by the new killers like pinheads box causing pressure and adding a secondaryobjective.

your initial assertion is " currently MMR shows this Gens go too fast" but MMR doesnt even work, so it shows us NOTHING. youre trying to connect MMR and gens and a connection cannot be made. And it's gibberish because it makes no sense. you make a bunch of statements separated by commas. but none of it is related to gens or MMR. it's gibberish.

It should, in my opinion, be reworked to be more interactive. Just requiring us to hit different buttons in the skill check success zone would make it more difficult and intricate.

Actually gen speed is probably ok given that the game is supposedly being balanced around the median result being some survivors are killed and some escape. For that to be the case the game needs to have it so that, if the killer and survivors are equally skilled, then the exits are opened at the end of the match for one or two to escape, and therefore in the majority of matches all the generators are completed. If the generators were only completed in 50% of the matches then you wouldn't get that 1-3 per match escape rate median result.
So the question is, when you're in a "sweaty" match, do you typically get 1-3 kills as a killer, with a few matches keeping the gens from being completed and a few where all 4 survivors escape? If so then that's an indication the gen speed is where it should be.
As to the other idea of "spicing up" working on gens with a mini game, that would be cool but probably impractical on the development side. Imagine all the perks and add-ons and such they'd have to change if they swapped in a mini game for those skill check dials. It would be a pretty massive effort! I mean if they could figure out a way to get something cool in I'm sure it would be cool, but I kind of doubt it will happen.
