Halloween Event needs some changes
Halloween Event should be one that is a fun BP time, something that helps with the crazy grind in the game. Right now it isn't. Lunar New Year awarded more BP and was more fun because all gens/hooks were event gens/hooks and everyone earned BP when gens were completed - players easily earned back their event offering from the event BP earned, it was great.
Firstly the gens/hooks - ALL should be event gens/hooks like during the Lunar New Year event. This would stop killers from preventing survivors from being able to work on their gens - especially since killer's get a special aura for the event gens, which shouldn't have been a thing in the first place. It's not fun to not be able to work on the few event gens. It's not fun as killer if players avoid going near the event hooks just to prevent you from using it.
Since every gen/hook should be an event gen/hook the offering should be changed to increase event BP. Currently you might earn 1000BP for being on the gen when it finishes but that barely covers the BP you used to get the offering in the first place. You could have a match where you didn't get a chance to finish an event gen or hook a survivor on an event hook making the offering completely useless - event offerings should never be useless for the player that used them. Make event gens/hooks all gens/hooks, prevents anyone from ruining the event for others and adds to the feeling of event when everything is decorated.
Have ALL survivors earn BP from completed gens like during the Lunar New Year. A survivor stuck in chase shouldn't miss out on event BP. A survivor that was on a gen for 99% before being chase off shouldn't miss out in event BP because another survivor ran over and did the final tap to get the event BP for themselves. Some event gens are single survivor gen which makes it so only one survivor can earn event BP from it. Players will let another go to second state/die just so they can finish the event gen for the BP. Give everyone event BP for the gens being completed, it makes for a happier/fun experience.
Have every bloodweb have atleast 1 item, 1 add-on, 1 offering. In 2 years of Halloween events on one of my survivor characters I have 5 items (atleast 1 was taken from a match), 2 offerings (I got none last year), 24 add-ons. I did 10 bloodwebs this year, don't know how many I did last year, but only 2 offerings - offerings needed to increase gens so I have higher chance to be able to complete one - is pretty ridiculous.
In the tome don't have cosmetics locked behind ones that require you to kill the survivors. I know the killers job is to kill, I'm not saying remove those challenges just don't have them blocking the way to a reward. Personally I like letting survivors escape during events so it sucks to have to kill them if I want to get to the cosmetic. Do same thing you did with Mikaelas top where one side was escape but other was just doing great skill checks - for killer one side can still be kill the survivors but then have other be something not kill the survivors like hit them 8 times in a single match.
I will say the Halloween tome and pumpkins are nice, I do like those additions. Please if you can this year, and for ANY event going forward have ALL gens/hooks be event gens/hooks and for bloodwebs have a more even distribution of event stuff.

The biggest insult is that the event offering costs 3k BP's (ontop of it being rare asf in survivor bloodwebs) but repairing a gen only grants you a bonus 1k. So there is ONE event gen by default and a 2nd gets added per offering. Which means if there is only one offering and you do both event gens you still only gain 2k extra bp's out of the 3k one had to spend in the first place to buy the offering.

you get 3k per gen if you bring the offering, but yes - the rewards are still VERY underwhelming

Killer can see the auras of the event gens. And hoover over them making it impossible to finish them. It makes no sense to bring a very rare found offering since you probably won't get anything in return.

I legit said this last night when I switched over to Killer. I saw the orange gens and thought, "Why is the Killer allowed to see specific event gens? All that does is make the jerks of the game want to defend those to prevent the points." This event has been pretty awful.

Same. I thought it was bad enough only having default 1 gen but then seeing that the killers get special aura to help them quickly find and camp it is just terrible. Making all gens/hooks event ones would end that.
