BHVR always does the bare minimum
Remember the clown rework that BHVR had a year to do? All we got was an extra bottle type, a few addon changes, and faster reload. He still sucks. Yes, he has strengths at tiles but lacks map pressure.
Remember the RE chapter? Wow, we got Nemesis. Too bad he is very underwhelming. Yes, he has good pallet play but is so... underwhelming. It isn't hard to escape from him, and his tier 3 could be so much better. But it isn't. His tier 3 is one extra meter of his tentacle attack... that's it? You spend all game building it for just one little buff. Then there is the inconsistency and RNG reliant zombies that totally make it feel atmospheric...
Remember Legion? He has gotten no buffs in years. But seriously? Not even small buffs? He is literally half of a killer right now. He can keep people injured and find them relatively easily, but that is it. He is just another m1 killer with nothing going for him. A JOKE of a killer. Good luck barely managing to get one kill with this guy at high MMR.
Remember the Trickster buffs? Sure they helped him, but they didn't give him what he really needed. He needed map P R E S S U R E. Seriously, making a killer better at something they were already decent at is not how you buff them right. Forget that, remember the All-kill "chapter"? We got another weak killer, no map (because making older ones look better is top priority apparently).
But take a look at this For Honor "crossover".
This is actually so humiliating for BHVR. It is probably going to give them a bad reputation (not saying it was good before... at all). Check out what Ubisoft did, and what BHVR did.
Looks awesome right? Hell, I might even buy the game because of this; I'm not even joking. THIS looks awesome. Now let's take a look at what BHVR did for Ubisoft for their crossover.
...That's it? Wow, a charm with a for honor helmet. What an AMAZING CROSSOVER BHVR. For honor got a whole new event. For honor got a keyring.
What about some current issues hm? Some persisting bugs, killer design, all the good stuff.
- The silent survivor bug has been around for an incredibly long time and has not been fixed.
- We still don't have loadouts or search bars for perks. And BHVR's reasoning for this one or similar things is that they have more important things to work on... Like what? Nerfing pig again? Making this absolutely amazing crossover event with Ubisoft?
- Trickster can't even hold main event... why?
- Audio is still wonky and inconsistent when walls come into play.
- Wraith got nerfed for literally no reason other than "he was a wee bit op".
- Survivors can still escape Trapper's traps on the first try. Just make it take 10 seconds to escape from a bear trap.
- There is almost no point in p3ing any character; almost no reward for doing it.
- Since the MMR isn't achieving what it originally intended, there really is no point in locking killers in a lobby. But it is still in the game.
- Boon totems are yet another thing for killers to worry about, meaning that your chances of getting a wider variety of killers as survivor are even slimmer.
Now some of the smaller issues like not buffing legion or allowing trickster to hold his power aren't exactly terrible ok, they aren't too bad alright. It is upsetting to see because it shows that BHVR can't even bother to fix the smaller issues in their game.
There are actually more bug fixes than good content in every patch note these days. Don't believe me? Have a look at the most recent patch notes.

So many changes, and only some of them were actually good. The Ghostface, Plague, and Trapper buffs were good, and the perk buffs were nice. But you know what would have been nicer? If they had all come out sooner. When was the last time the devs touched these killers?
They don't care about the small QoL changes that are actually really appreciated.
They don't care about making the game more fun and balanced.
It shows they do not care about your gaming experience.
I mean come on, they literally nerfed billy for no real reason. His addons suck now. They. Suck. Period. And then there is the overheat mechanic which I don't feel like getting into.
Then we have the MMR system we currently have. BHVR spent over a year working on this. Over a year. +365 days on a system that works just as well as the last one. Escaping or killing should not be the determining factor that decides skill in DBD. It should be everything that goes on in between. Decision making and efficiency for both sides, and the use of your power as killer.
But not only do we have a really bad MMR system, we have a company here who knows that this system sucks and just laughs it off. If "There's too much nuance to make an effective system", then why in the world was it added in the first place?
This is getting so tiring. I'm sick of this. I'm sick of BHVR. I'm sick of how the game is neglected. I'm just sick of it all. I just want the game to be better.
Edit: Ok, apparently someone got their PS4 bricked by a hacker. So this brings me to another point; BHVR has not addressed the massive surge in cheating. Not once, not in the slightest, and now things are starting to get bad. Their incompetence is starting to show more and more.

And yet yall still buy skins and everything else.

Never bought a single skin and earned every original killer with shards.
4 -
How do you know OP buys skins and everything else?
3 -
Behavior will do the bare minimum unless they get competition
6 -
They could move onto something else at that point.
Been there, done that: Deathgarden.

And now this game is causing peoples consoles/ PC’s to break...

I know in the past we had our differences, but F i agree with you 100% on this.
I have been screaming for a QoL chapter instead of releasing new content, just to fix their game (as far as that is possible)
I was already sceptical about the mmr when they talked about it knowing bhvr, and it is exactly what i was afraid of.
If they really want to have MMR in this game than first balance the game better before implementing it.
I used to play both sides but more killer than survivor, now i fully dropped killer as it is absolutely no fun anymore.
You have to used the best killers with the best perks to actually being able to win.
Sure you can get a 3 or 4k by just slugging them and hooking them 1 by 1, but F that is to boring for me i want to play for 12 hooks and go on different chases, try different builds, do fun builds, etc.
But that is just not possible when you are at higher MMR.
But they just don't seem to care about that, as they don't really look at the killers perspective and see the $$$ from the many survivors.
Sure i have bought a few things but have stopped doing that for a while now, i want them to get their S together and start working to get their game better.
They're not a small company anymore so they can't hide behind that anymore, they should have the manpower to actually start optimizing this game and bring it in a better state.
That is, if they cared

o wowe that's uh.......... a bit of a difference in promos...... well, good bounty for the for honor team i guess
on the trickster holding main event note i've always asserted that should be the case, even if it took far longer to build up
but every single time the response i get is 'but that'd be too good for camping :(((((((' and i presume it's a similar sentiment with our devs
