Iron will compromise until they FINALY fix the perk audio bug
As we all know, if a survivor use iron will and they are injured, they simply 100% stop breathing, which makes tracking extremely hard for no reason because they should still have their normal breathing sound, but they don't, they don't need air anymore once injured, so here's the compromise until it is fixed.
Iron will:
grunts of pain are reduced by 75% while running/falling but are 100% reduced while being still/crouching/walking
This will keep the stealth aspect of the perk while still giving killers enough info to track survivors slightly, because in a normal chase you can hear survivor breath while healty and taking it away is a big disavantage, so leaving it at 75% would be close enough to regular breathing, so if you want to be stealthy while injured you still can, and while running you are extremely more quiet than without it.
This is just a compromise until they actually truly fix the audio bug of this perk.

As an avid Iron Will user I'd be fine with that.

glad you agree :)

I already use rank 2 Iron Will only (75%) on most of my Survivors so that would be perfectly fine! Would actually be a buff for my playstyle, with the still/crouching/walking change 🙌

no lvl 3 because you find it unfair? you are quite unique

i'd posit that >50% audio reduction shouldn't come without a penalty (cough @ that perk) but that's just me, curr iron will existing + priority over stridor is honestly ridiculous, which is upgraded to completely and utterly ludicrous when combined with this new blue thing called shadowstep

Well, that and I like hearing some of the males' injured sounds... Leon's and Felix's to be exact 😏 But it is definitely more fair as well, 75% is plenty!

Why not just fix the breathing audio bug? Seems like it would be more efficient.

yea no #########? but the devs either don't work on it or are too imcompetent to fix this simple bug, so might as well do something they can easily do, number changes.

Should be just disabled while running. If you want 75% while running use no mither

There isn't any audio bug.
It's just that the breathing sound are replaced by injured moaning sound when you are injured. When a survivor is injured there aren't both audio running.
But yeah, a survivor shouldn't stop breathing because of IW. The simplest "fix" to that would be that, when you're using IW and injured, you're just acting/breathing like a healthy survivor.
Anyway, I'm for a nerf, IW grants a strong effect for free, and there isn't anything in the game that can counter that (I mean... That was the unique reason of Stridor to exist).

and stridor is now dead :(
