As I will be postponing my necessary thread for later next month as I gather some materials, I want to make a few threads in its stead that would be highly beneficial for the future of this game.

This is why I am making a feedback thread that calls upon the community to post feedback and complaints about the game, whether it be Survivor, Killer, or general gameplay mechanics or issues, in just one thread for the developers to see what the community wants. My reasoning is logical; the current feedback forums are a mess of differing posts that divide the attention away from people, and possibly even the developers, and I want to stop that here and now.

This is why this thread exists. I want to make a log of feedback that the developers can clearly see that the community wants, and I urge that the community gets together on this so we can actually tell them what may be needed for the betterment of the game's health; at least to the developers actively looking at and listening to us.

Community, I urge you to come into this thread to present feedback that is commonly accepted and desired by the rest of us, so that I may catalog it in this one post. I'm trying to do this community a service by making sure that we can come together and be clear on what people want and need in this game.

So what can you do?

  • The first step is to either post your feedback here, or to link a thread you made containing your feedback.
    • Optionally, you can tag what your feedback is for, whether it's for Survivor, Killer, Map, Perks, Items, Add-Ons or Gameplay Mechanics.
    • Additionally, I would recommend that you put headers on your suggestions so that it can be separated from the discussion portion of the thread.
  • The next step is for the rest of the community to upvote feedback that they agree with.
    • Feedback that gets at least 25 upvotes will then be put on the catalog.
    • Feedback that gets at least 50 upvotes will be put up on the higher part of the catalog.
    • Feedback that gets at least 100 upvotes will be put up on the "community priority" catalog.
  • Please refrain from making posts talking about multiple topics unless it's related to balance, such as Killer, Map, Item or Add-On balance changes or reworks.

This thread is made for the community in mind and is meant to be a bridge between the developers and the community regarding the state of this game.

This thread cannot work without the community to help it flourish. This is why it needs to remain as active as long as it can so that we can get to the developers regarding the issues that we have with this game.

I'll be posting two reserved comments for both "community priority" feedback and "standard" feedback. The rest of this thread is up to you, and I hope you can make this work.

To start this off, let me give off an example of feedback I think would be good for anti-bad manners and making things less annoying.

    Consecutive Rushed Actions Punishment

    • Survivors using a rushed action 5 times in a locker, vault or on a pallet within a 20 second window will now cause The Entity to block all of the associated interactable objects within a 32 meter range of the object until you begin a chase with the Killer.
    • This only applies to the offending player and no one else on the team, and is meant to prevent people from consistently abusing the mechanic in order to annoy the Killer.
    • This effect does not overwrite itself when performing a rushed action outside of the 32 meter range; instead, it will stack and prevent you from entering or vaulting any of the associated objects in that area, too.

This is one of the many anti-BM measures that this game could have and would mostly prevent many of the players trying to act in this manner to either stop or be punished for being generally annoying and griefing their team.

Additionally, for anyone who is new to this thread and wants to know how to properly format a post, this is an example. Headers are important to distinguish your post as a suggestion rather than general chat and discussion. You can also do this with links.

Some Killers OP especially the ones that move faster than survivors and have ranged attacks especially the Clown his gas attack is a wide radius attack and slows u down.it is fine if killer is slightly faster then survivors then dont give them a ranged attack

I like the idea of this thread. I really hope it works out.

    Headers are hyperlinked!

    KILLER DIFFICULTIES, MY VERSION

My take on what the killer difficulties should be.

There's no need to apologize, but I re-iterate what I said in the OP; one subject per post.

And probably to avoid a lot of shenanigans, maybe no multi-posting one after another. Would give people time to breathe and read others' ideas.

    Ah, I see.

So maybe a post once in a while?

Should I edit my post to only include the threads I'm working on, or edit it to only include one of the threads and exclude the other thread as well as the threads I'm working on?

I would recommend finished posts more than likely since it's better for that.

I would also recommend that you and anyone else try to title your "feedback" posts with headers at the start so it can be distinguishable from the main chatting.

There are so many hackers it's ruining the fun of the game.

I mainly play Killer and there are survivors who use hacks by teleporting me on the other side of the map or make it where i cant pick up falled survivors and etc...

Literally 3 games in a row of hackers 😔
