The Hatch should spawn at start of match, to add an extra layer of strategy to the trial.

Why won't the devs just let the Hatch be randomly spawned at the start of the trial, and the Hatch only opens when 1 survivor is left?
- Killer and Survivors are rewarded for traveling more of the map to accidentally find it
- When the final survivor is left, the Killer and the final Survivor go into a 1v1 situation, to see if they both remember where it was. If they both found it during the trial, then it becomes a sprint to see who reaches it first, and it could create a tension situation and cool chase!

Increase Crow response to campers around the hatch area. If camping the area, immediately get the 2 crows above your head.

Wouldn't that just mean the killer always gets it if you aren't already there? most of them are much faster than you, plus they have direct control of when it opens, so they'll know exactly when to walk over.

So long as the methods to open the hatch remain the same, then no.
Killer - Sees hatch early-game, remembers where it is, and it's no longer a chase to find the hatch in the final 1v1.
Edit: Keep in mind the Killer has hatch priority and at the moment the Hook Sacrifice animation allows Killers to traverse the map before it opens. and even if you made hatch open immediately once Survivors started the deathhook animation, it would incentivize Killers interested in the Win to slug, and for Killers that just want a normal match flow would be punished.
Survivors - Just bring keys and search for the Hatch instead of doing anything in the Trial.

This would only benefit Hatch campers and punish every Survivor who does not camp the Hatch. If you start camping the Hatch when the game goes downhill, you will most likely get it. But if you still try to win WITH your team, the Killer will most likely get to the Hatch before, since they are faster and dont have to hide.
So it would benefit the wrong people and punish those who still try to win. Not really a good idea.

They would just bring a key and escape instantly. And it would be mostly in killers control if he finds it

I agree that Hatch was overnerfed and it should spawn even when 5 gens are done, but having it always visible is completely wrong

I recommend experience. after a point, you kind of just get a feeling where the hatch is going to spawn on different maps.
Otz will help as well.

If you want to get technical, it does spawn at the beginning of the match, you just can't see or use it.
Also, as others have said, they do it because of keys and hatch campers. There's no strategy behind it.

Technically the hatch is a physical object in the game that can be found by knowing where hatches spawn in any given trial and walking over it to find the small rise where it is. Some killers can also bump into it, bubba and blight for example.

They just changed hatch to spawn when only 1 survivor is left alive, to prevent survivors leaving prematurely.. and you want hatch to be there from the start? Wooooow!

Having it spawn at the start just favors the killer. They will pretty much always get there first if they play it right.
I kinda wish they would just rework the entire 1v1 endgame scenario in general. What we have now is far better than what we had before with old keys, but still.
