I’ve had many matches like that where the killer will face camp for no reason at the beginning. Don’t worry though the killer mains in these forums will tell you to sit on gens and get out like the 1st comment under your post and won’t care about the person being camped but will be the same to complain about gen speeds, flashlights, tbagging, swf etc.

Not a killer main. I have 7.3k hours in this game and play both sides a ton. Literally just go sit on a gen and leave.
FYI, I only complain about Dead Hard/Ruin. Couldn't care less about anything else in this game.

Calm yourself gamers. Gens have been done and 3 people escaped. The real question is... Why does the game have to suck for that person who's being camped and why am I not being rewarded boldness because it's not my fault the killer isn't chasing me?

He wants to gain no pips, no BPs, thats on him. Rush motors and leave. BHVR said that camping is viable strat, even if its really unfun for basically all 5 players involved.

If every match was the exact same, DBD would be boring if that answers your question. You'll have tons of other matches to get boldness points and have chases. This is just one match and shouldn't dictate every match. I rarely see killers who camp or tunnel and if they do, then it is what it is. I personally find it hilarious when a killer face camps me like this. Unless you're in a SWF with that person, I wouldn't doubt that they found it funny as well.
On top of that, its haddonfield. I don't really blame him for just wanting one kill.

And FYI, it doesn’t matter how many hours you have in this game, the OP title clearly asks “are you planning to stop this?” So, you responding with do gens isn’t even a valid response to their question, they’re asking if BHVR will fix the issue itself.

The reason he had to camp is because there were survivors alive in the trial, on haddonfield.

For those who keep saying I was in SWF... How do you know if I was in one? I was soloQing and I saw this survivor being camped at 4 gens. What's so fun about hitting skill checks on the hook? I'm so disappointed in this community. Everyone is assuming stuff and not giving proper answers.

there's not much you can do if a bubba is camping. slamming out gens is gonna be the only best way to go. Yeah it sucks for the survivor but it's worth it if their teammates can escape.

Too many post about camping. Toxic players and poor players will camp, just as people will use hacks. Other online games do the same things, anything for that easy kill or just to be toxic. Just as survivor who wait at the gate to teabag. You cant change the mentality of some players

What is the point of the game for a survivor, oh to do gens and then escape. All the rest is fluff and nonsense. Opening chest gives you items you can buy on the bloodweb. Cleansing totems just helps you to survive or do gens. Looping the killer is what you do to survive or give the team time to do gens, if you can all stay out of the way of the killer, there is no need for this.
The game for a survivor is do gens to escape, so yes, if you bought this to play survivor, then you play it to to hold m1 and do gens. If you get hooked and somebody keeps you on the hook, people moan. If you get rescued and then they chase you again people moan. If they get killed they moan. Now you are moaning about doing gens to escape.
I think some people should spend more time learning the game and getting better then moaning on here.
Some games you win, some you lose. Some you have a good game, some you have a bad. Some games you meet toxic people. This is life.

Sadly your best bet is to escape and get up in the MMR so you dont get matched vs campers like this.

Didn't the devs say that one kill actually counts as a win for MMR and that camping is a legitimate strategy? He's just doing what he can to win, even though it's incredibly boring and I don't get how people are able to sit there for 120 seconds doing nothing.
Also, it's Haddonfield, camping and tunneling is understandable with how much of a mess that map is for Killers.

Campers aren't as frequent when you get to higher ranks though. I mean there's still some but..
Most leatherfaces I play against aren't campers (and I'm not even super high rank either) it's a minority.. but yes the minority makes it suck ass.
Sadly, camping is a viable tactic.. There's no way they can make it so camping on 1st hook with no gen is bad vs camping after gates are open..
