Something must be done about this!
This has gone on way too far and ever since Bubba was buffed it has provided him a free win by simply doing absolutely nothing. To the devs credit, they fixed an issue so hook saves can occur from any angle but this has gone on too far without being addressed. It's the same as old facecamping where it is impossible to save. One person shouldn't have the ability to ruin the match for everyone. To make it worse, he was awarded BBQ stacks while nobody else could get WGLF stacks.
Then he actually left the last person to bleed to death without hooking him.
And by doing absolutely nothing but abusing gameplay mechanics, he walked away with an amazing amount of points. This needs to be ADDRESSED!
How does the game award such no action or bad behavior? He should have 6K, not 26K!!

Something really needs to be done about this
and it's gens

Imagine being so bad to be beaten by camping Bubba. Do gens = gg wp ez.

So you are condoning that this is fair?
1 -
If you spectate a game after other survivors have been killed or escape, they don't show up in the spectator screen.
8 -
The second picture is in spectator mode. If the other 3 survivors already left, then the only survivor that would be on the left when going into spectator from the end game lobby would be the last survivor in the match.
Idk why it removes the other survivors from the left list, but it does.
4 -
I spectated after I died. He let him bleed the full amount of time.
2 -
There once was a (partial) solution:
And I say partial because, even with the Old BT, it was possible to down both Survivors...Still it gave them much more of a chance.
4 -
You could just not go for the unhook and do the gens simple as that you don't him to get his bbq stacks while camping don't go near the hook cause you won't get know even if you get the unhook especially with BT
1 -
You are actually wrong here. When you come back in to spectate remaining survivors, it only shows the names on the ones alive and left in the match. Note that the Steve costume and the Feng costume line up as well.
I don't think this is a 1v1 custom at all.

I said survivors who played on 1st picture aren't very smart. If u all suicide on killer because altruism at all cost, then it's fair. Don't blame killer for playing dumb.
If i was in this game. I would trade u the moment i see Bubba is camping and it would be minimum 1 man escape.
1 -
Why are you recovering near the hook instead of crawling away so your teammate can pick you up?
How did you get down near the hook instead of doing gens?
3 -
It's very true that bubba being able to simply camp like he does is not ok, I absolutely agree with that.
Unfortunately though, the answer is to simply let him have 1 free kill while everyone else does gens and leaves.
Is this fair gameplay? No. Not in the slightest.
Does it need a change? Absolutely.
Should the survivors reward the bubba by attempting to get saves and just get themselves killed in the process? Not at all. They should take what they can and go.
So I again 1000% agree with Sluzzy that even though there's an obvious answer to the problem, it shouldn't be a problem in the first place and until it's fixed it's a way to reward boring gameplay from the killers side when the survivors are just trying to have an actual game

''it is impossible to save''
of course it is XD

Do gens instead of feeding the killer more hooks.
3 -
The best thing to do in this situation is do gens. If there is no chance for a save, don't take it.
0 -
What? How do you save against an insta-saw? This killer completely denies gameplay mechanics.
1 -
All it takes is one solo player to not know. Gens are also too slow to get them done before one person is camped to death. He still gets 2 kills which is not fair.
3 -
Have you ever played bubba? maybe you should give a chance to discover that or at least read his base kit to improve your actions to counter that.

Well when considering that the others had the opportunity to do gens, yes. Yes this is most certainly fair.

"SOMETHING MUST BE DONE ABOUT THIS!"
Yes, rushing the generators while Bubba is camping is what must be done, if more survivor players do that, a lot of campers will eventually stop camping.

U mean if your teammate is stupid it's unfair? That's great logic u have. Do we need to nerf everything so even monkey can play it?
1 -
Actually player Icons will be removed if you go to spectate then endscreen then back to Spectate

It takes 2 minutes to kill someone on first hook. Not counting time to find, chase, down, and hook the survivor. Combined, this is more than enough time to get all the gens done.
It takes 1 minute 20 seconds to do a gen solo. That means before the person even goes into stage 2 (assuming they INSTANTLY went down in chase) 3 gens pop.
Your assuming the other survivors and yourself have no idea how to play the game nor do well in a chase. In which case you deserved to die anyway because the killer was simply better than you. No matter how he plans to "kill" you.
Judging by the builds of everyone in the lobby, it's safe to assume this is low MMR. Not quite new players, but definitely not high MMR if the survivors couldn't deal with a camping Bubba and end up all dead. So if push comes to shove, he deserved the win because he played off of how greedy you guys got going for the unhook trying to do it in his face.
As a side note, what in the world were you guys all doing to all die around the hook lol. I can guarantee all of you were 360'ing around just waiting for the Bubba to go by the "rule book" and leave the hook. Even while knowing all you guys were close.

To be fair, a monkey could do what he did. Bubba needs to be reworked because no skill is needed for his "instant" down.
1 -
When you know the Bubba is camping, why don't you just do gens?
The guy on the hook was basically dead at that time.
Do your job and don't try to be a hero, OK?
A camping Bubba can hardly get another kill when you just do gens and get out.
1 -
Yes Sluzzy, Bubba OP. B tier killer at best, is OP and needs to be reworked. Great idea.
1 -
Not everyone is in a 4 man sweat team. If that is required to beat bubba, it needs changing.

This is why I respect billies over bubbas anyday.

It doesn't even take any type of SWF to beat a Bubba. II only wish I play against Bubba's more as survivor. The only killers I go against is Nurse and Blight, or the occasional Spirit or Pinhead.
I rarely if ever play with people and if I do, it's a Duo at most. Which to be fair, is more than enough to play around some of the better killer players.
If you or your team can't handle a Bubba, then I pray to see what you come to the forums with when you go against nothing but Nurse and Blight.
1 -
If your team did smart it was only 1K, 2K at best. And u don't need to be Bubba to 1K. But if u suicide on killer, it's only survivors fault. So again, blame yourself and your teammates for 200IQ gameplay.
1 -
I agree. Facecamping bubbas need to be addressed. Or facecamping in general.
3 -
Nothing will never happen because it wouldn't make sense, but playing along....then they should make it if your within 24 meters of the killer, you can't unhook.

See, I love that Bubba got buffed and is actually a pretty solid killer now
But I hate how it just made camping as him even easier. If a Bubba wants to facecamp someone there is 0 recourse other than doing gens. All he needs is 1 down and he can guarantee that kill.
Camping is needed sometimes, but players who set out to camp someone to death from the very start need some form of counterplay if it's a killer like Bubba who ignores one of the only perks that help (BT)

The realistic approach imo is make it like Pyramid Head's cage, swap Survivors to a different hook randomly. This keeps the game active and every player on their toes.
2 -
Killers who camp get that many points because the main thing killers get points is by hooking survivors or killing them (basically just getting them out of the trial). Me and my friend have dealt with this situation and he had a recommendation which allows the timer on the hook to stop and it not go down when the killer is in a certain range of the hooked survivor. Now in my opinion, i said this would be over powered ,but i get where he was coming from. But yes the devs should do something but they do not have many options on what to do.

This gets suggested all the time, it was trialed before and teams of survivors just looped near the hook so the timer never went down. It doesn't work.

bubba's gameplay has got to be the most mindless one out of all killers. it's just, hold w to get close to survivor and m2 for a potential instadown or a fast pallet break. with billy though, in high mmr, you're gonna have to learn how to curve around a loop without bumping into any objects standing out. so yeah, hillbilly is definitely a more respectable killer.
the fact that there's even a guide on youtube on how to use bubba is absolutely disturbing
1 -
agreed completely, tho i dont think the hook should move during egc since killers don't really have any other objectives at that point
1 -
Sometimes we have to accept being the martyr, sometimes we have to let someone else take the role.
0 -
it is necessary for every second near the hook to subtract thousands of blood points along with ranked ones so that this player does not receive anything
1 -
even if a solo player doesn't know they can still go back to doing gens and not unhook.

Old bt looked bad
0 -
same
0 -
It sure was.

i dont mean in a unbalanced way i ment it only working once i happy they remove it for the unhooker tho since they made it works forever in match instead of once
0 -
It wasn't.
0 -
i mean it was not really but only working once it sad imo i always run bt but i feel like it heathy now
0 -
Only worked once but protected both survivors. That gave survivors a better chance, instead of merely trading hooks.
1 -
that true but still i way much rather have current bt over old bt since you can have it forever and i run it for my teammates not me
0 -
I only didn’t like when it gave endurance to the unhooker.
