NERF BOON TOTEMS IMMEDIATELY
the state of the game is in the worst state ever for killer mode. I can’t understand why the devs cant understand you cant buff the survs when theres 4 of them vs 1 killer. I really hope they start to change something or me and alot of people are quitting the game.

Insert Angry Hedgehog biting on foot *Angry*

I'm assuming Ruin on Blight is just fine.
1 -
I mean this in the nicest way possible: It's nice to see you acting level headed.
2 -
Ruin is able to be destroyed permanently
2 -
But it is so much stronger than the boons.

Somehow, and I don't know how, but seeing you being right feels so wrong

Boon totems are fine lmao, just got to get more used to them.

They aren't though. They need tweaked to allow the killer to smash the totem permanently or get their hex back. They also need to lose the 100% heal speed buff and just allow healing at slow ass Self Care speeds.

They arent. Altought surprisingly CoH isnt as bad as i tought it would be at first its still an overal heavy counter to ALL the M1 killers, striping them hard of their only way to bring down people, the healing it has it should be reduced even more OR made so its just a small addition ton any healing done inside the circle, and i mean a small amout not a 90/95/100% bonus to already existing healing factors, even with the adjustment the speed at wich people can heal its just honestly ridiculous.
Shadow step on the other hand its beyond ridiculous, it strips down killers from two of the main sources of tracking on the game, scratch marks and renders pretty much all the aura reading perks that directly target survivors. Shadow step should be two diferent boons to begin with.
Boons need to have something that actually makes them a precious resource and not just a dumb spamable safety net with little consequences, and no, 14 seconds to bless a dull totem its a joke UNLESS all the survivors are doing the exact same thing at the same time, the time a single survivor spends doing something isnt the same as a killer.
Boons should have a limited amount of uses per trial, a cooldown afther they are snuffed or allow the killers to destroy the totem, this would actually make them more bearable but with some counterplay

They aren't
1 -
calm down whiner they still need to be blessed 24 seconds when the killer extinguishes in 1 second
2 -
it's not especially if everyone do gens solo
0 -
add undying for infinite gen pressure. Undying to keep boons alive, slug to get a decisive early game.

shocking news, the ONLY time the blessing takes 24 its on a hex, on dull totems takes 14 seconds, wich by the way 14 seconds are really nothing to try and bring like a decent argument at all

Ah yes. Can you please share your wisdom and tell me how are you so good that you can just know exactly where the boon is (including if the map has floors), know the exact corner and the right degree to stand on so you don't waste extra seconds trying to find the small spot next to the totem to be able to turn off boones. Also I assume you only do it at times you don't chase someone or not in need to patrol gens because otherwise it would not be just "extra 1s" am I right? ;-)

they both live for 16-30 secs in my games lol. pop and other non hexes are better.

Boons being able to be reset is fine, they have limited range unlike Hexes which work map wide and don’t start out in play like Hexes.
If Circle of Healing or Shadowstep are overpowered the simplest way to balance them is adjust their specific parameters. Make Circle of Healing heal more slowly, and make Shadow Step have a smaller radius of effect. Tune those numbers to where the benefit of them balances with the time it takes to place them and that they affect all survivors.

Buddy, you have no idea what the worst state of the game for killers was.
Believe it or not, there was a time when killer shack had 2 windows, no bloodlust, nearly every junk tile had 2 pallets, cow tree had 2 windows, and some structures were LITERALLY infinite loops. Not just "oh this loop might take me 30 secs to catch the guy running it" no, I mean literal infinites loops that you as a killer would NEVER catch the guy running it unless he stopped moving entirely.
The game is rough, but overall it's in the best shape for killers that it has ever been.
