What is the angle you can blind a killer from?
I was just wondering because I got blinded from the side while looking at a wall during pickup. The survivor was off screen for me

A blind is normally aimed at the face of the killer, side blinds are rather uncommon but some are able to do it. The blind along the middle face of the killer or something. I never really understood how sideblinding I'd possible if it's not right in the face

So how do you avoid getting blinded if you can be blinded from the side

I attempted to very roughly illustrate the blinding mechanics. Hope this helps give an idea. Angles can vary depending on the height of the killer, but the vision cone is always the same and you should always aim at the face.

Best way to avoid being blind is to look up or quickly look the opposite direction, but looking up is much faster or run the perk light born.

I dont think you can look up while in the pickup animation

Not in thr pick up, but you can somehow avoid being stunned but still blind. I've had it happened where I get blinded but I didn't drop the survivor.

Must have got lucky I always seem to get stunned and blinded

Possibly. Getting blinded is irritating, especially with some of the angles of blinding. But there are ways to avoid it. The quick blind also depends on the add ons and the rarity of flashlight being used. Some flashlight take a bit more time to blind the killer than others.
