Fan Chapter: King Of The Beasts
New Killer: The King
Difficulty: Hard
Playstyle: The King is a strategic killer, able to move at high speeds and slow the game down with his ability Give Your Gift.
His 3 perks, Hex: Don’t Question The King, Hex: Don’t Offend The King and Hex: Don’t Disappoint The King help catch up with survivors and slow the match down.
Bio: There was a reason why he was King. Not only did he survive every attack the opposition threw at him, but he was the wittiest and smartest of them all. Many tried to dethrone him. Leviathans, Krakens, even a few humans. All failed. Why? Because no one could match him. Long live the King, they celebrated, long live the King.
His true self wasn’t known to many people at his time, all they knew was that he was their saviour. Their saviour from that wretched entity Jörmungandr. If only they knew that they were being deceived.
Lucifer Martinson was a truly evil person at heart, causing chaos and lying to his citizens. He poisoned their water supply, laughed at the corpses of his victims and loved to hide in alleys to wait for people to come by. He waited there, and then when the time was right, he’d snap at them, twisting their head off and eating them whole. Not to mention, he had contact with a certain friend.
Jörmungandr was the exact opposite of Lucifer. Being the son of Loki, he was thought to be a horrid, evil snake with horrifying abilities. Well, they were right about the ability part. He only wanted the best for people, and would do anything to change his image. Anything. But he didn’t know what he was getting himself into when he agreed to have a meeting with the King, Lucifer himself.
They chatted back and forth, agreeing over one thing. They were both misunderstood by the public. Jörmungandr wanted to be a hero that stood up for the people while Lucifer wanted to rule over the kingdom like a territorial beast, not be just a ‘nice and caring’ king. That’s when Lucifer suggested something incredible. With his friend’s help, they could combine forces. Quite literally, as well. The unholy fusion between the 2 beasts could have unforeseen consequences, but if it worked out then it was worth it. They could be two things at the same time. 1. A warrior with a ferocious, animalistic spirit, 2. A giving King who was respected. Hesitantly, Jörmungandr agreed.
The pain. Oh god, the pain. It was awful, really awful. Their bones snapped and broke as they were crammed together, their brains were fried with awful memories as they fused. After hours of torture,
the monster was complete. An inky black figure remained in the fusion pod, basking in the freezing cold. They broke out, tearing apart the pod. Jörmungandr rested, now not in control of the monster’s brain. Lucifer immediately took the wheel and smiled. He turned to his ‘friend’ and cackled. “Thank you, Entity!” He called out. Their plan had begun.
Appearance:
Weapon: War Flag
Speed: 102.5% (Dormant) 120% (War)
Terror Radius - 31 meters
Power: Give Your Gift - The King starts out invisible, with no terror radius or anything. Every 5-15 seconds, however, you can see little glimpses of him. The King can select a survivor when in a 10 meter radius of them and enter the War phase, at the cost of the survivor seeing him. In the war phase, The King moves faster and can now attack survivors. At the beginning of a match, a survivor has an item with them. This can differ from keys, flashlights, medkits, anything of the sort. Once in the war phase, a 2.5 minute timer shows up on screen. In those 2.5 minutes, the survivor needs to find a massive throne hidden somewhere on the map. When near the throne, the survivor needs to drop the item they are carrying into the middle of the throne, therefore exiting the war phase and making the King exit the war phase. If the survivor doesn’t find the totem in time, they curse teammates with the Doom status effect
Doom effect:
-Cannot use item
-Reduces Killer terror radius to 0m
-Cannot heal or fast vault
-Every Skill Check is extremely difficult
-Lasts for 2.5 minutes
Perks:
Hex: Don’t Question The King - No questions asked. If the perk is in use, 1/1/2 survivors suffer from the exposed status effect for the rest of the match until the totem is cleansed. If the totem is cleansed, survivors receive a 4/8/12% penalty with every hook or generator they sabotage or repair
Hex: Don’t Offend The King - Or you’ll be executed. If 5/3/2 generators are completed, survivors within a 5/10/15 meter radius of the Killer are slowed by 5/10/15%
Hex: Don’t Disappoint The King - like the rest of them. At the beginning of a match, you become obsessed with a survivor. If the obsession exits a chase or stuns you, you gain a token.
2 tokens: 5/10/15% penalty with every action
4 tokens: Survivors’ auras are revealed for 2/4/6 seconds when failing a skill check
6 tokens: All survivors suffer from the Broken status effect
Survivor: Ryan Harbinger
Difficulty: Intermediate
Playstyle: Ryan is a character based around supporting his team and getting away from killers.
His 3 perks, I See Dead People, Mistakes and Thank You For Believing help him get away while also giving teammates advantages.
Bio: Ryan was always a fan of the paranormal, even when he was born. He loved tv shows about ghosts, and hated it when people denied his belief. Inside, he knew that somehow, some way, ghosts were real. Even as he grew old, he had a passion for ghosts and such. He bought a ouija board, downloaded apps on his phone, used an Xbox connect camera to try and speak to the beings but nothing worked. Nothing would stop him from his dream. That dream being contacting a demonic figure.
One day, he tried something different. He used ink to draw a pentagram on a few planks of wood and surrounded it with lit candles. He laid down in the middle of the wood and chanted ancient words in his recently bought book on the paranormal.
“Here be the ancient one
Here be the told
Here be the Royals of the past
Stories Untold
However there is one
One not known
Beware their tempting screech
Jörmungandr
Lucifer
The mighty and the bold”
Suddenly, the room shook around him. Bottles fell and chairs slided into the corners of the room. He looked up, trying to get up but found he was trapped underneath some sort of invisible weight. As he ride and tried, it set in. He had just resurrected a demon. Oh god, what had he gotten into?
Perks:
I See Dead People: they are real, you can show them. Every time the killer vaults, attacks or exits a chase, their aura is revealed to every single survivor for 2/4/6 seconds.
Mistakes: Your mistakes always find a way to bite you, but that doesn’t mean you can’t hide from them in the meantime. When crouching and not moving for 5/3/2 seconds, you are able to crawl on the floor. You move at 93% movement speed and make loud noises when moving, but when you stay still you cant’ be heard.
Thank You For Believing - If a teammate takes a hit or distracts the killer, you gain a 5/10/15% movement burst and can work on gens 5% faster for 30/60/90 seconds.
