So how would scourge hooks work together?
Now we have 2 scourge hook perks when using then both how would that work? Would it be like boons with all effects being shared on the white hooks or more like Hex? These scourge hooks do this those do that?

It still spawns only 4 hooks unfortunately. It would be cool to have 8.

The effects will be applied to the same hooks, just like Boon totems work.

Number of scourge hooks need to stack. There's no point in equipping half my loadout for hooks that are usually unreachable or poorly positioned.

I believe they will. With both perks equipped, there should be 8 Scourge Hooks on the map, all of which can be used to apply effects, with more in the future.

Or at the very least have some kind of bounding for how far they spawn from the center. Corner hooks just aren't a good thing.

Would love to see that. I really like the scourge hooks but whenever I add them in the map rng puts them in the far corners away from the gens.

Yeah that's another thing I see that scourge hooks need some improvement in. Either extra +4 scourge hooks for each scourge perk because sometimes horrible RNG placements cause even i had some games where all 4 hooks spawned together in one corner of the map. Or keep only the 4, but increase the logic where they spawn 1 in center of map and the others more properly spread out.

Ahhh the swamp. Where all my scourge hooks are the ones in the corners behind the trees and I need agitation and iron grip to ever reach them.

If you have 2 scourge hook perks do you get 4 hooks per perk (so 8 hooks turned into scourge hooks) or is it 4 hooks total no matter how many perks you have equipped?

New Scourge is decent, but I hoped you will get 8 scourge hooks with 2 perks.

If the number of hooks increased then the power of the perks would go up exponentially with the ease of use increase simultaneously with the power of use. In other words with three Scourge Hook perks, for instance, if you not only get triple the value out of using AND it's three times easier to get to them then it's a huge boost, probably too much even.
Keeping the Scourge Hooks at the same number still gives you the increased effectiveness when you use them (i.e. you still get three effects for one hook if you have three perks) while keeping that inherent condition of "you might be out of reach of the hooks" in them.
Besides, now I can run that double Scourge Hook plus Agitation and Mad Grit combo I've always wanted! 😄

I don't think it would increase the strength of the perks. At best it improves the frequency of using the chosen perks after successfully downing a survivor. Devs could give 4 op scourge hook perks and they would still go unused if hook access is unreliable.
Currently the perks are diverse enough in effects that the stacked benefits aren't singularly focused enough to cause difficulties in one action. If each targets a different aspect of play then they won't be as heavily felt as 4 gen perks working against us.
