Should killer get xtra BP for giving survivors the hatch or escape gate.

I play both survivor and Killer equally and if I am last alive as survivor sometimes the killer will give me hatch or escape gate, which makes for a less toxic and nice gaming experience.Similarly as killer if I’ve had a good game will always give the survivor hatch or escape gate, wonder if this trend will catch on,thoughts..?

Tbh I wouldn't mind 3k points for the killer or something if the last survivor escaped within 16m of the killer.
You could even call the score event "Fragmented Hope" to keep the action more lore-friendly by implying the killer let the survivor escape with pieces of hope the entity feeds on.
I mean, if the entity still feeds on hope that is. I haven't paid attention to the lore in awhile.
Anywho, might promote some nice interactions between both parties or at least mitigate the sting of the last survivor escaping so close to the killer.

Yep get that totally, just garnering opinion on limiting the toxicity this game seems to be producing, good point though.👍

Isnt that just quiters bonus?

I am a super nice killer that does this all the time, but I have to say no.
Right now when I am nice the Survivors are grateful.
If you make this a thing, I'm gonna start getting Survivors EXPECTING it and I will start getting hate messages for not letting them go because I threw away free bloodpoints just to be an <expletive>.

I wouldn't mind more bloodpoints for letting them go, but at the end of the day, if I cared THAT much about BP, I probably would have just killed them. So the point is kind of moot.

Tbh people who think not giving hatch or gate = toxic need a reality check.

Giving hatch or exit gate is a gesture that loses any meaning if you reward it in game, so no. I say this as someone who does this quite a bit.
Plus, it'll just create expectations and entitlement.
Also, you'd think to have it not be a complete joke, you'd have to remove or reduce the survivor's hatch bonus if the game is officially determining that they were "given" hatch.

I'm not sure how the game could determine the difference between the killer letting the survivor go, and the killer failing to catch the survivor.
The only case I could see it working is when a survivor slips through the hatch within x seconds of being manually put down by the killer.
