Borrowed Time Should Be Base Kit BUT With A Caveat
When the last gen is done/doors need to be powered on, it stops working. This way the killer doesn't get screwed at end game and end game builds will be MUCH stronger yet survivors won't feel like they're getting screwed during the match if the killer decides to tunnel them after first hook with 5 gens still up.

They're never going to make a perk basekit guys.
There are better methods out there that don't need to be so extreme.
For example: an unhooked survivor has no collision for 5 seconds, similar to a survivor whose just been hit.

Something needs done about hooks but I have no idea what to suggest, my main issue is high mobility killers and hooks, how easy it is for them to just come straight back and get two survivors depending the situation is just zzzzzz.

in my opinion if you perform an unsafe unhook that's on you. that's why there's BT. even with BT the killer can still go after them for another down anyways. it'd be too strong since it wouldn't really punish survivors for unsafe hooks.

Tunneling is a valid strategy for killers, is the most efficient way for them to win in the same way slamming gens is for survivors. Is it fun? No, but neither is seeing 2-3 gens pop before the killer gets the first hook.

I think many people need to understand is that the first thing that needs to happen to stop tunneling ist to stop the gen rushing. As killer in many cases the only way to even have a chance is to tunnel one player out of the game because if you dont, you dont stand a chance. (unless you play blight or nurse)
Killers are running 4 perks to slow gens down and theres still 2 gens popping before the first hook, its absolutely insane and not fun at all. The boon totems now encourage it even more, cause everyone is healed up in no time. You cant implement stuff that buffs survivors even more before fixing that issue. Only after the gen rushing stops we can talk about ways to stop killers from camping, slugging or tunneling.

they need to address both issues at the same time otherwise it will get heavily abused.
think about facecamping Bubba with a new mechanic against gen rush. If the Bubba has any game sense and skill it’s already a guaranteed 2 K in the current state.

If any perk should be basekit, it should be buckle up

Perks don't need to be made basekit, LET ALONE one of the top meta perks in the game.
All it does is essentially give every survivor a 5th perk slot so now they can bring 5 second chances instead of 4.

BT can become Base Kit for survivers, when LP and CI become basekits for Killers. So it will never happen

My issue with Borrowed Time is that the perk is meant to counter something the Killer can do for free (tunnel the survivor right off the hook), yet it can easily be countered by something the Killer can also do for free (count to 12).
Either make the protection last 60 seconds, or make Borrowed Time base kit.

You think turning a survivor into an invincible ghost is better than having Endurance for a few seconds? Wild.

5 seconds.
This would prevent Borrowed Time bodyblocking.
Meanwhile Borrowed Time would last longer, 12s currently but with this change it could go back to the old 15s.
This would prevent cheap instadowns the moment you get unhooked or farmed, while also making Borrowed Time a true anti-tunnel perk, because now you don't get the unhooked protecting their unhooker with it instead of allowing you to chase them and avoid tunneling.
