The next boon
So far we have 3 to address the issues which allow killers to apply pressure; injury, slugging, and tracking.
Makes me wonder what's next or left for the boon perk expansion. What other survivor problems could quickly be rectified while in the boon zone?
My guess is we will see a boon for item regeneration or negating charge usage.

Boon: Repair
"Generators within the Boon radius are automatically repaired at 30/40/50 percent of normal speed. Survivors working on a generator in the Boon radius receive a 5% speed boost to repairing, Good Skillchecks become Greats, Failed Skillchecks become Good and Great Skillchecks give 2% bonus progression."
Ta-da. I've successfully designed a perfect perk.

I think they said they wouldn't

Their word doesn't really mean much.
If Boon characters sell well,it's probably gonna happen.

Honestly a see aura's of your teammates inside of the boon totems area and 100% increase in bp would be nice

Really makes me laugh at all the whining about boon totems. They aren't even good. The situations where they help are really niche and require wasting time to prepare them.
Also, if you slug someone next to a boon and don't snuff it, that's your fault. They're novel right now, so they're prevalent. Everyone will be back to dead hard, DS, BT, adrenawin, or unbreakabill soon enough.

Nah, CoH is meta.
It removes the Killer's ability to easily snowball.

I am from the future, the following are a list of boons you can expect from future chapters.
Boon: Tenacious - This blessing gives you strength. The next hit you take that would down you gives you deep wounds instead.
Boon: Ingenuity - This blessing bestows knowledge. Your items regenerate 5% of their durability per second.
Boon: Speed - This blessing bestows agility. Your action speeds (vaulting, dropping pallets, sabotaging, opening chests, etc.) are increased by 25%.
Boon: Together - This blessing promotes teamwork. While at least two people are in the boon's radius, gain 7% movement speed while in the boon. Effect lasts 5 seconds after leaving the area.
Boon: Purity - This blessing protects you. While the killer is in the blessing, they are slowed by 30%. This effect lasts 5 seconds after leaving the area.
Boon: Military Assistance - Delta's got your back. Press the active ability button to summon a barrage of missles 20m in front of you. If it hits the killer, they die. Cooldown is 5 seconds.
---
Don't worry though, they can be snuffed out and force the survivor to relight it to regain the benefits.
...
Until the perk "Holy Blessing" - Your teams blessings are resilient. As long as this totem is lit, snuffing a blessing will automatically move it to a new unused totem, but you cannot bless another totem yourself again for 30 seconds after it is snuffed.

I still really want to see a sort of Vision Ward Boon that reveals the killers aura to the person who blessed the totem any time the killer is in its radius. Then maybe if the killer snuffs the totem, all survivors can see their aura very briefly.
If this seems too powerful then just change it around so it affects survivors: if a survivor is in the boon's radius they have their aura revealed to the other survivors and they are able to see everyone else's auras from within the totem. Kinda like Kindred / Bond.
I really want to see Boons that give info

Let me give you a list what Boons give into gameplay:
- Survivors can recognize Hex and play around (Thrill with no Ruin = DevourHope/NOED; no Ruin but there is a Hex = Haunted ground ect). Killer has zero info what are the effect in a Boon.
- Hex & Totem supposed to hide in a small/tight space that hard to see. With Boon, Killer has to interact with Totems, since then Totems forced to be in more open space so Killer can interact. Boon exist is an indirect nerf to Hex, just for the place they should spawn.
- Boon can trump Hex, Hex cant trump Boon.
- Survivors have choice between Bless or Cleanse. Either to gain benefits or prevent Noed, Plaything from ever happens. Killer doesnt have a choice to Cleanse to prevent Boon (this would bring depth totem play to Killer that either keep Totems up, or prevent Boon but also reveal he doesnt have Noed)
- Survivors can spend 1 of 16 perks for Hex hunt. Its not worth to spend 1/4 perks slot just to able to see Totems aura.
- Some map like Swamp that always have a Totem spawn at an unknown corner. If the Totem is Blessed, it requires Killer to spend walking around the edge of the map full lap. For a 10.000m map, its perimeter should be ~400m. It takes at least 60sec to walk a full lap. Its equal to 3Gen time (60sec x 4 survivors = 240sec). Maps with double floor gain double benefit.
- A Boon can pin point location like a map. I got chased away from a Gen in the Game lower floor, then I can instantly go back to Gen because of a Boon near by.
- A survivors can keep changing Boon location, this gives teammate info of where Totems spawn, and they can follow the path and destroy it. Without paying time to find. Saving time of the possibility that 2 survivors go around finding Totems cause wasting time.
- When a survivor Blesses a Totem, others know where their teammate was, possibly doing Gen near the Boon to join in. Or stay away and spread out Gens.
- When Killer snuffs a Bless, survivors know where Killer just was, and estimate direction Killer coming to your Gen. This act like "Alert" to all 4 survivors.
Killer main only look into the infinity time to snuff, and effects perks give and complain. Its actually just a minor thing. The little things happen when a Boon is up, is crazier.

Except.. in the time it takes you to run to the totem and heal, you could have just used self care. In the time it takes to bless the totem and then heal, you could have just used self care. In terms of time efficiency, CoH is just not worth taking. An unreliable heal that either isn't any better than self caring, or your killer is bad enough that you didn't need it in the first place.

Boons don't give anywhere near the level of power some of the hexes do and they directly give more incentive to running NOED, since some will be disinclined to break totems now.
Hexes do not reveal their existence until they come into effect. Boons announce to the whole world they were set up.
Blessing over a hex takes more than 30 seconds. You could have half a gen done in that time. Just break the hex and get on a gen.
If you are blessing multiple totems so others can break them, you are again giving the killer more time. Just break them both yourself and get back on a gen.
There is no announcement when a boon is snuffed. Only the player with the boon perks knows it was snuffed and only if they notice the perks darken. I can't tell you the number of times I realized my boobs had been disabled for who knows how long before I saw it.
They are novel, gimmicky perks and will not replace dead hard, DS, or BT. Some might work it into that 4th slot, but they just aren't worth it. It's not hard to track a survivor without scratches, and using self care/botany with a medkits is significantly faster and more reliable than the totems. Just like it was for inner strength.

The idea of Boons is bad imo. It's a safe haven Survivors didn't need as they are already the power role. Boons also just show the discrepancy between SWF and SoloQ even more, with SWF being able to use Boons for easy healing and anti slugging while SoloQ is stuck there with maybe 2 to 3 heals

Recover from Exhaustion 10/15/20% faster.
You recover Exhaustion at 25% normal speed while running.
This effect trumps all other effects.

Boon - infinity
If a survivor is hooked within boon totem area, their hook stages progress bar moves at 25% speed (it takes 4 times longer to sacrafice someone).
This effect lingers for 60 seconds after leaving the area or the boon beiing cleansed.

Thats not always true, it depends on how close you are to a boon totem. Healing under a boon totem is 16 seconds, default self care is 32. So running to a boon totem is more efficient if it takes less than 16 seconds to get there. At 4 meters per second, that equates to 64 meters of distance before it is more efficient to self care.
Results may vary: This doesn't take into effect whether another survivor is present to heal you, whether Shadow Step is there to prevent your aura from being shown by Nurse's or BBQ, any killer interference, or if there is any healing slowdown in play.
0 -
It also doesn't take into account whether or not you have Self-Care. Most survivors don't run it and one person with CoH allows everyone in the trial to bypass needing self-healing items or perks.

Gotta disagree on coh. When used wisely it can completely neuter a killer's ability to spread damage and pressure. Forcing the killer to go after the down on good loopers is time crippling.

Base-game change
Killers: When snuffing Boons it destroys the Totem.
Boon: Memento
You see the Aura of destroyed Totems, and you're able to bless the remains of destroyed Totems to create a Rekindled Boon.
Soft chimes ring out within a radius of 24 meters
Survivors inside the Boon Totems range benefit from the following effects:
- The Auras of all other Survivors are revealed
- All other Survivors see your Aura
Rekindled Boons are in all purposes Boon Totems, however when snuffed leave no remains.

Would sprint burst have more value than dead hard with something like that?

I think a boon that prevents one shot downs or gains endurance is possible. Think of the DH endurance, BT hit or even Mettle of Man, but in an AOE for 1 hit only that lasts for 10s after entering.

Boon: Circle of Legos
Entering the circle makes the killer scream
Destroying the totem stuns the killer
They can built of anything
