Should there be a Map Rotation in DBD?
An Idea
Everyday there is 5 Maps that you could be randomly be put into.Each Map will have a equal chance of being chosen.Map Offering works like this now,placing an offering will put that Map in rotation for that Trial.If the offering gets burned that means that is the Map you will be playing on,if not it gets refunded.Placing a Offering of a Map in rotation increases the chances of that Map being chosen.
Example:
Todays maps are Lerys,Ironwork of Misery,Badham II,Midwich,& Temple of Purgation.
For survivors you may see a,lot less Blights & Nurse because of Lery & Midwich being in rotation so you will start to see other killers because of that like Ghostface,Myers,ECT because the map in rotation favor them.This also means you may see Killers run different builds like Stealth Bubba cause of Lerys or no Bamboozle & Hex Crowd Control cause of Lery.Both killer & survivors could have an idea to prepare for since there is only 5 maps.
This might also get the Devs to finally change Haddonfield,RPD,ECT because if that is in rotation why mights see decrease of a player in that day so it will cause the Devs to Rework it,& or Retire the Map.

There actually is a rotation at play. It's not a map rotation, but a realm rotation. Meaning one period, you have McMillan, Midwich and Yamaoka on the rotation, and 80% of the time, you get McMillan, Midwich or Yamaoka maps.
As for retiring haddonfield, or any map, that is never gonna happen. Heck, Hawkins wasnt even retired, it was removed. Let alone that even with the player annoyances, the maps are relatively balanced. If you lose on those maps, odds are more likely that items, offerings or addons cost you the game, rather than the map.

What about a selection between three different maps before the beginning of the match for the killer and survivors have to use mao offerings to try and deny the killers choose. You could also add a new offerings that allows the killers choose to override all other map offerings.

That is what I am saying in the comment the killer is the one who gets to pick the map and the only way survivors can pick the map is through map offerings while the killer always has a chance to get a map that they choose.

that sounds pretty like it would be annoying for survivors and I think the devs refrain from changes that would annoy ~80% of the player base

I mean yea It would be annoying on the survivors part but giving killers a buff isn't a bad idea and map offerings help survivors even the odds and would make Haddonfield and RCPD map offerings a chance of failing.

No. We need more new maps before doing something like this.
And maybe in a competitive mode. We need to keep a casual mode with all maps, all perks.
