Brutal strength and Fire up
These two perks should be basekit:
Brutal strength because pallets are a nuisance and it takes an age to break them
Fire up because at least killers will benefit from gens being repaired too fast
Thoughts?

No that's a little OP and killers would be playing with 6 perks.

Rather than see them become basekit I'd rather see them buffed- not every killer actually does struggle with pallets (Demo, Bubba, and Nemesis definitely break pallets faster even than Brutal Strength) so it'd be nice to have Brutal Strength be a more potent option, and Fire Up just isn't very good.

Maybe an unpopular opinion, but both are fine as they are. No way should they be basekit either.

Or maybe buff Brutal to 30/40/50%

Brutal is fine as it is.
Fire Up is the one that could use a numerical buff.

Brutal is not fine. It needs a higher speed buff and 50% is ideal especially on the map called The Game AKA Pallet Town.

The problem becomes not every map has pallets like that, and it stacks with Fire Up and Wraith’s add-ons.

Naw. If Wraith has an add-on that cracks pallets 60% faster no reason Brutal can't be buffed to at least 30%. I know you have not played in awhile but the pallet amounts have changed and the pre-drop hold W to next pallet is strong. This happens most of my games to the point if I see someone loop I am overly excited.

Last time I played Brutal was fine as it was, but I could be wrong...

I have always loved brutal but in the last 3-6 months the game has started to turn into what I described above. M1 killers are rough to use right now (Not saying it impossible) and this strat is a big reason why...along with boons.
The killers that can ignore/break pallets with their power are a bit more enjoyable.

Are things really that bad?

I would make Brutal strength kick Gen regress +5% perk kick
Addon is limited used, and you cant use them every match. Perks is free once unlocked. But yes it need some speed improved.
I can live with 20% faster on pallet break, but have 50% faster on kicking Gen would not be OP

I run Brutal on almost all my builds because I hate respecting pallets. But admittedly the sheer amount of pallets on most maps has gotten ridiculous. Perfect example: Gideon Meat Plant. The rework has so many God pallets now that it's absurd, and if some killers can break pallets faster than Brutal allows, then I see no reason why Brutal couldn't see a buff of some kind.

5% gen regression should just be base, not tied to Brutal Strength or any other perk.
4 -
Same, but its currently value used to be enough for me.
Though I am out of touch with the game.

Does default makes any regression on kick? Or just the 0.25 regression overtime? Thats why I put +5%, not 5%
I find the problem is survivor touch for 0.2 sec can deny your 2sec. I would make all of their action has 2sec startup animation, such as 2sec to sit down and starting to work then make the progress, same thing to healing (decrease the base time to 14sec), and open Gates.
But 5% regression base is far stronger and easier to fix though. They do not dare to touch Gen just to get another 5% regression.

Right now, damaging a generator simply starts regression. No base damage. Yeah, even 5% base damage would go a long ways to combat gen tapping.

Brutal used to be okay but nowadays it's not really worth running anymore.
It's more of a feel good perk then an actual value perk. It very rarely matters on how far the survivor can run. They'll make it to the pallet they want pretty much all the time. Even when you combine it with Fire Up it rarely makes a big difference
Now buffing it to 50% is a tad overkill but it could very easilly be buffed to 33% and still be just okay

I am really out of touch, then.

More pallets and more survivors that know the most efficient way to use them. Pre-drop, run, gens cranked by others.
There are multiples of the pallet breaker that show up each level for me (P3 50). Not to mention he has yellow and green ones as well. Regardless I don't see how 30% would be overpowered. I think it should be higher but whatevs.

i agree with brutal
i don't think fireup should be basekit its unintuitive

Yeah I definitely see where others are coming from here. So many killers have come into the game since brutal was implemented, and they break pallets faster than the perk allows: Demo, Bubba, Nemesis, etc, that at this point I see no reason why there couldn't be a change to Brutal Strength.

I'm not sure about Brutal, but Fire Up could definitely use a slight numerical buff. Iirc, this was tried out with Freddy's rework, but slightly reverted. Never understood why.
