high MMR survivors should NOT be ALLOWED to run more than 1 DS.
1 DS is fine to deal with in high MMR. if u had 2 or 3 or 4 people running DS then the game gets so broken and unbalanced the killer can only get 1 or 2k. Forget about 3 or 4k's.high MMR survivors already have a lot of experience in using DH and knowing how to loop tiles pretty well so it's already a headache to deal with as a killer player. Also survivors ALREADY have mutliple ways to deal with tunneling killers. Body blocking, unhooking hooks, flash light saves, head on saves. the options are almost endless for them. So why should the killer suffer from mutliple DS users????? ALSO forgot to mention the survivors that purposely get into a locker to get a cheap DS on you. they can bluff it sometimes but most of the time they run DS or have someone do a flashlight save. High MMR is so boring BECAUSE OF MUTLIPLE SURVIVORS RUNNING DS.

DS works as intended now, so if you find yourself getting hit by DS multiple times, you’re chasing the person who just got unhooked (aka tunneling) Slug them if you think they have DS and wait it out. I don’t really have a problem with DS and I’m a red rank killer. As for flashlight saves the best thing to do is face a wall or bait the savers. Head on saves are a tough one not many SWF’s can pull those off but just bait the locker.

There’s almost no reason you should be getting hit by 3 or 4 DS’s now, especially if you’re in high mmr based on your skill and not simply based on killing potatoes.

easier said than done. With unbreakable being a big part in their quick recovery. Oh also forgot to mention medkits can get a quick revive. ohh wait theres more. WE'RE GONNA LIVE FOREVER. ohhhh wait wait theres more. boon totem circle of healing OHHH WAIT THERES MORE. multiple survivors getting them up quick....... Think before u post

no actually there is a reason. The reason is called GEN RUSH. When u get gen rushed as the killer you're supposed to tunnel a survivor out the game. there are perks and tool boxes to help with that. Gen defense perks on killers are useless so don't defend by saying that. Also all gens are pretty hard to defend and impossible on most maps in game.

If you are only getting 1 kill, then your MMR will drop so that you will eventually get matched with survivors more at your skill level. It does take some time however.
I don't think it's an issue with DS personally, since it was changed I've been hit by one DS and that was only because I'd forgotten who I'd hooked as I tend to keep a mental note of this.
Locker into DS - is a way to avoid being slugged so I don't have a problem with it in the slightest.
I'd also add, I don't think it's just at specific MMR levels that DS is used. It's pretty much across the board from mid and up. And as nobody knows what MMR level they are at...I would suggest not focusing on what MMR you think you play at, and just focus on finding your enjoyment in the matches.

Don't chase the freshly unhooked survivor if you're scared of DS?
I mean, multiple DS can now very easily turn in multiple dead perks if the killer doesn't tunnel..
5 -
if you are upset at ds, don't go after the unhooked survivor. or purposefully eat it so it's not useful later in the game.
despite the numerous healing perks, it is okay to let injured survivors go, slug, or go after someone else.

its pretty annoying for underwhelming killers though, i was playing against 4 SWF and damn it so hard not to tunnel, they'll juggle the killer the whole map and pressure is near impossible unless you kill 1 or 2 of them early on. Great thing there was the basement though and i was running NOED, never clicky clicky on me ever again.
I got paired with 4 Iridescent player that are atleast higher rank than me, and I'm Iridescent 4...
I still can't understand why would you t-bag in front of pallet in shack when your at the top of the basement.
(it was funnier when they all try to body block me and I get 3 kills for it, the last guy was hilarious had to chase him halfway through the map and as all his friends were dying in basement, he thought he could escape but I WAS RUNNING NO WAY OUT TOO.)
SBMM IS WACK AFTER ONLY 3 MATCHES(THE LAST MATCH ONLY HAD 2 KILLS) I GET PAIRED WITH 4 IRIDESCENT SWF.

People generally only use wglf for the bp, and they're usually extra altruistic (to a detrimental extent) when running it. you can utilize that bp greed to your advantage.
in all seriousness, try running furtive chase and you won't accidentally tunnel, thus avoiding ds.
thrill and undying help with boons. nobody's going to bother to bless during thrill, and undying gives you massive information when used on its own.
as for flashlights, try to look at walls before picking up if you saw a flashlight in the lobby. overwhelming presence, lightborn, and franklins can also help. you can also bait the save by standing over the survivor. usually, if someone's going to save, they'll get in position when they think you'll be locked in animation, so they'll usually come out of hiding.
if you need to slug, knockout will considerably delay pickups. franklin's and sloppy also mitigate med kit saves.
as for unbreakable, no mither, or soul guard, you can bait that too by pretending to go around the corner.
did I miss anything? let me know, and I'd be happy to try to help. :)

Of all the meta perks, having multiple DS is really the least annoying one.

You are aware that DS is deactivated when the user even accidentally taps M1 on a gen or an injured survivor, yeah? If you get hit wirh DS that often, you tunnel a lot, plain and simple.
Endgame DS leading into escape? Unlucky, but quite honestly, it’s called “Decisive Strike” for a reason.

Multiple survivors running the same perks is not a problem.

DS is fine, It's the horrific map balance and tile design that make it unplayable.
0 -
I don't think that makes sense. What, you gonna nerf DS so it doesn't work if someone already used it? That's the fast way to make the perk doodoo.
0 -
That wouldn't fix anything

DS is fine, learn to slug.

DS is such a niche perk that the killer has to go out of their way to get hit with it now. If you're getting with multiple instances of DS in a single trial...something is going very wrong in your approach. It only works if a player is being legitimately tunneled now. It's a risk you accept when you go for a tunnel.

Or maybe you are just not good enough to get a hit, get a hook, and return before a minute is up? Because it happens to me, but you know, I guess I am just built different and able to tunnel 3 at once with my weak macro game.

"just focus on finding your enjoyment in the matches."
That's hard to do when your mains get undeserved nerfs...
You get validated multiple times in one game with 30 ms ping.
You have to deal with CoH, which is just broken.
Well, I have found enjoyment in different games for now, so my opinion doesn't matter, not that it did before...

It's 45 seconds now. And again, if you're getting hit with a DS at all, let alone multiple DS in a single trial, your are picking up a survivor within 45 seconds of them being unhooked before they've touched a gen, performed a healing action, or touched a totem. I guess if you really want to go for tunnels, slug one survivor instead of hooking, force a 1 for 1 at the hook if you can when you go back to it, and then you'll lose nothing when you eat the inevitable DS because you have two slugs. That's about as theoretical of a scenario as somehow eating lots of decisive strikes with any consistency.

Unbreakable has entered the chat

45 seconds? What in the? Man, I am accidentally stroking my own ego. Ha ha ha...
I think most people are getting hit by it at end game for obvious reasons. I personally do not even care anymore, if I get hit by DS when I am not tunneling during the game, I immediately decide to tunnel that degen out of the game a$ap. They will wish they had an anti tunneling perk available to them once I am through with them. Same with borrowed body blockers. I am just looking for an excuse to tunnel someone out without feeling bad about it.

Maybe I missed something but when did it become 45 seconds? In game the perk says 60 seconds or is that an upcoming change from the PTB?
