Hag needs rework.

So I just picked up Hag since she was on sale and I've used her for a couple of matches but does anyone else feel like shes a little outdated? I feel like they need to do something to make her a little stronger. I feel like her traps aren't really effective if you're going against a team that has any sort of communication plus if you know you're facing one you can just continue to squat over her traps which are her only abilities. I just feel like she seems really easy to counter. She has some good perks but with Boon totems I feel like hex's arent that good anymore. Just some food for thought and I was curious what other people thought.

She used to be really good killer, but CoH is really bad for her, because it's quite hard for her to commit to most chases...

I think she is a really cool killer and I LOVE some of her cosmetics but with the introduction to boon totems they literally just made her the most useless killer in the game. She gets one easily countered ability and her perks that she has are mainly hex's which are now being blessed over. I mean I'm saying this as a Mikaela main who uses the totems and loves them.

I don't think she needs a rework. Her power is fine. She can be strong if played well or not getting countered a lot.

I just don't enjoy playing her. But that is subjective thing.

She doesnt need as much as a rework as much as circle of healing and most boon totems a hard nerf. CoH its basically the bane of msot M1 killers striping them hard from all potential damage if they dont comit super hard to the chase

Idk I just think shes not very viable. I think her power sounds good in theory but again I think it is way too easy to counter, and I mean the discussion of nerfing the boons is a whole other topic. I'm just looking at her specific kit. You can use any perks you want for her. I'm just saying that looking at what she has to offer originally her ability is not that good at all and at least 2 of the 3 (I can't remember what all three of her perks are) are hex's and with the new boon totems people are looking for totems more than ever.

She doesn't need a rework or buff. She is really strong in the right hands any buff would male her even more annoying to go against

Have you considered maybe it's not that Hag isn't viable and it could be your ability to play her? It's like the old adage "A good workman never blames his tools." Perhaps you aren't playing her optimally which is why she seems weaker to you. You did say you "Just picked up Hag" and played "a couple matches."

She's a Killer that takes a lot of planning to work

I've had some success playing her

Actually she needs a nerf 😁 just a little nerf but a nerf nonetheless.

Well yeah I considered that and I'm still gonna try her and get better. I was just looking at it from an outside view. Like she has one thing, 99% of killers have like 2-4 parts to their power. So compared to other killers is all I meant. It was just my opinion and I was curious what everyone else thought.

Hag is still a really strong killer, even with her counters. Her play style though is very different than any other killer though as you’re not directly in chase with survivors more so snowballing most of the time.

I love her! CoH definitely has had a toll on her more than anyone else due to her “hit and run” play style. But tbh in a lot of matches I learned how to counter. You have your small web of traps in your small area. When they get hit bad survivors run to the opposite side of the map to their boon, spend time self-healing then they rinse and repeat.

I wouldn’t say she needs a rework but definitely a qol change. The concept of a 110% speed killer has basically died out as most killers are now 115% excluding the older ones (nurse, myers, huntress). So a base speed buff to normal 115% (excluding nurse) would be nice to increase Chas potential.

the qol changes she needs are mostly to her addons, many are counter indicating to her spam-teleport strategy or offer little to no advantage in chase.

I wish more played her. Something’s to remember when learning her are:

against good players, they know how to bait your traps by running around the corner of your trap radius, so once you realize they’re doing this you stop your spam-teleport strategy and become more strategic to which tripped traps to teleport to as well as not committing to always instateleport-lunge all the time.

franklins is very good with her in getting rid of survivor items, placing a trap over the dropped items is a good strategy to catch them off guard because when a survivor picks up at item they have to stand in order to do it. Survivors can’t crouch and pick up items at the same time. But don’t become reliant on it, it’s her meta perk but it’s more fun (in my opinion) to just experiment around with different combos.

when placing traps remember to be strategic with them, they’re fairly noticeable. What I do is I like to place them around corners or in grassy areas so they aren’t seen. Placing them around corners catches them by surprise because the trap radius is circular, so you don’t always have to place the trap in direct path or view for it to be tripped. Also you can see the outline of the radius after you place them.

Thank you for the tips! I think she seems like a really fun killer and I love cosmetics in games and I think she has some really good ones. I'll try these tips out!

She fights real hard for most boring killer in the game. A rework would be great.

    Hag?

No, she's still very strong. CoH is about the only thing that really hurts her - and CoH is going to get nerfed eventually (it's just too strong).

What I would like to see for her is an addon pass though, as a lot of hers are worse than an empty slot.
