Deliverance slight rework
I feel like if you have Deliverance ready, and you're the last survivor in the trail and get hooked, you should be able to use it still.
At the moment, regardless if you meet the requirements (1 safe unhook) you still die instantly if you're the last person in the trial.
I would like to see this change, it could make for some clutch escape moments when paired with Decisive Strike.

It would make no difference because if you were able to attempt people would just stand by the hook and as soon as you used deliverance you would get smacked down and more than likely they will expect DS with deliverance so then you're just slugged and hooked once they feel it's been long enough, it's basically delaying the inevitable at that point and dragging it out longer than it should

Cypress Memento mori Value.

You aren't suppose to save Deliverance until the end of the game. You are suppose to take aggro and get hooked when it's active, because it's completely resets a killer's pressure.
2 -
Lol but then why would you have hooked them in the first place knowing they're the last one?

If you have 2 ppl on hook, one dies, next uses deliverance.

They were saying how you couldn't attempt when being the last survivor that's why they wanted deliverance to change

Oh. Well because you like to appease the spider god we call the entity.
Other than that no real reason.

Not all killers are staring at you while you are on hook.

It would only make a difference if you also had DS, AND if the gate is already open so you could actually crawl out. Which is niche enough that I don’t think it’s necessary.

They would if you could attempt while being the last one, you used to be able to attempt as the last one and that was exactly why they changed it because it made no difference

LOL why are you not taking a down for your team while you have Deliverance active instead of leavig it until you are last left?
I actually thought this was gonna be a post saying that it should be nerfed, since 1 safe unhook is ridiculously dumb to be able to negate all of the killer's pressure at the push of a button while hooked.

This was an instance where I was the last survivor left in the trial, I unhooked the other guy with BT and he made it out, giving me deliverance in the process.
I was then hooked, and was on first hook as the last survivor so I was immediately sacrificed.

Were they and then you the only ones hooked in the trial? If not, then you should have rescued someone earlier and taken the chase for the team knowing you have one of the most busted perks in the game equipped.
Coz it would be pretty busted to give survivors attempts to free themselves when the match is over. Imagine self-unhooking into a DS exit gate/hatch escape. That is criminal right there.

Deliverance is not busted if anything it needs to have the broken status removed.

It just means that killers would need to babysit the last hook. They would sit there wait for you to jump off, wack you down, wait a minute and hook you again. Just to play around all the perks you have while the game was already over and done.
It is a waste of time for everyone. There is no means to escape at that point, unless the killer moves away and they would have no reason to. They do it now because it is over and done, maybe they can kick a pallet and get 100 more BPs, shoot off their power for 25 etc. The game is over, time to move on to the next.

More often than not that would just lead to wasted time, unless someone built 100% around it with deliverance/ds/unbreakable/soul guard or something.
Get an unhook to activate it then look for an opportunity to take a chase with the killer earlier in the match, being the last person alive with all your hook states intact already implies the player should have taken one for the team earlier if possible if you ask me.
If there's any change that should be done to the perk, it should inform all survivors that the guy that just got hooked has Deliverance activated. SWF already knows and knows no one has to go for the save, if you're solo you often try to find the balance between not jumping off before the killer even has a chance to go away, and not waiting so long that several people start coming to save you before you use it.

I didn't even need to open the thread to know it was this same old suggestion again.
No. You are the last survivor, you have been caught.
No more second chances, no more "but I just want to use Deliverance into Decisive and be immortal for a minute against a killer who already killed everyone else and hooked me!"
You lost. The end.

I really want to believe this is a joke XD

It's not. Like why should you be broken just because you can unhook yourself with it?? You're not broken with UB after picking yourself up.

Both very different situations. Slugging and Hooking, one is guarenteed progress towards the objective and the other is a gamble for snowballing pressure.
Being able to pick yourself up off the floor is not comparable at all to self-unhooking. There is no real rush to pick up a slugged survivor due to their bleed out timer being 4mins (I think) and the ability to crawl away from where you were downed, making it hard for killers to come back and find them for the pick up. However, there is a rush to getting an unhook due to the fact if they are left for 60 seconds to hit 2nd stage they die on next hook or can even die on that same hook if they miss skill-checks or are left altogether for another 60s. The fact you can self-unhook is very very strong and negates all potential pressure the killer can build off from that hook. To be able to jump off a hook when your entire team is on the other side of the map sucking all the pressure of the killer because they are all trying to get gens done on that side, only for you to jump off and instantly heal straight into a repair is ridiculously powerful. The OP had one of those ideas to make sure survivors have an even easier time escaping; and your idea is on the exact same ball of string as theirs. Deliverance is a very busted perk.
