DEAD BY DAYLIGHT IS SURVIVOR SIDED
This game is survivor sided, the only fun side to play is survivor. Where you can do mistakes and get away with it. Killers do 1 mistake and its game over. With the introduction of boon totems its almost impossible to win as killer. Hit validation is an insult where u get the hit but it does not even register. Even low rank survivors have an easy time to win. GG Behavior you have ######### up your game

Low-MMR Survivors have always (and likely will always) have a terrible time because Killer is undeniably OP at that skill bracket.
The game is not unwinnable at high MMR. Unfun? Sure. Unwinnable? No.
Survivor is the less stressful role, however.

Kind of agree that Killer is unforgiving, when 2-3 gens are likely to pop in the first chase, making a mistake in that chase is very damaging and will make the game even harder. But you do see streamers all the time making mistakes or getting outplayed in chases, and still winning the game (just often requires camping/tunnelling at some point).
It is what it is though, it is a 4v1, so it makes sense that your mistakes will be weighted something like 4x.

I don't believe that it's intentionally survivors sided by design, I will say there's a number of factors that go into play that make it feel that way and also sometimes those factors make it feel killer sided. For example a good blight on a map that has a really good 3 gen and few pallets and alot of deadzones, vs a trapper on the game or blood lodge. Those are very different experiences on both sides. Alot of things that make the game feel the way it does is often the rng elements. There are certain things survivors and killers can utilize to make it feel one way or the other, add that ontop of favorable or unfavorable rng and it makes it a worse feeling.

Dbd is not surv sided, its cheat sided, since its become hvh game and every 2nd surv using pack of soft like legit speedhack , flashlights in back and tons of lagswitch

It really does though, though boons are still way op and are easily replaceable, removing one will get people off gens to reset it and you know where they are.

the "do bones" arguement started about NOED. Do the bones, no noed. Its a counter that never has changed with the perk. But with boons, you literally can never eliminate the perk no matter what happens, even by "doing bones". Its not a counter, its just a temporary setback for the boon user

Yeah Yeah so much fun with all this tunneling, camping, slugging, massive slowdown and sweaty killers. Ah and hit registration again: Would be great if guys like you would understand that this is exactly how it should be. Youre not robbed by a hit, cause there was no hit that would be legal.

Ortzdarva says different and he probably has some of the highest amount of time playing the game and knows all the kiilers inside and out. If anyone would have an accurate opinion of the state of the game, it would be Ortzdarva.

At least lagswitch or ping abuse, minor ######### but its still exploit. Tons of legit speehacks, just look at your next games, when playing killer how survs running with different speeds and other stuff, you will be surprised. I even had guys who with seruous faces told me that surv is faster than Myers. Hack is normal thing there for long, but it should be that way because devs dont give a fk about gameplay and hacks cost is few dollars per day,so..

Honestly dude I been playing for just over a year now and don't think I've spotted a blatant hacker yet. Its definitely possible I've seen subtle hacks here and there, but I've never knowingly spotted anything obvious.

From the start of the match, it's in the favor of survivors. It's up to survivors to keep the game as close to the state of the start of the game as possible. Aka, not using too many pallets, making sure generator spread stays roughly the same, keeping everyone alive.
It's the killer's job to get the map in a state that is as far away from the start of the game as possible. Aka creating deadzones by forcing pallets down, making sure generator spread gets as small as possible and killing as many as possible.
Hit validation means you DONT get the hit while it does register on your end. Not the otherway around. You missed.
And low rank survivors dont have an easy time winning. Heck, the only reason low rank survivors are escaping more often is because they learn to rush gens when a killer tunnels.

14 seconds on a team of four people is honestly not that bad when you the killer just wasted his time snuffing it again. Also wouldn't really place the exact boon in the same place unless it's a troublesome spot like on the top floor iron works of misery.

That maybe so, and i dont agree with it just because the surv was mean to me, But again you're not seeing as many nerf killer threads are you? Hell even the mandatory NOED is op daily isnt happeneing.
The only thing i want touched is Boons, That's it, Multiple boons suck on one map and they're essentially immortal.
You can keep everything else, Dead hard is stupid, (in the fact that i can hit you and it negates it) But illl live with it.

The fact that you guys says the game is balanced shows how delusion you are. Its not balanced and it will never be. Survivors have limitless second chance perks and can do countless mistakes without having to pay the consequences which is not fair.

They're gonna keep coming till we actually see some posts put into action by the devs. People aren't gonna stop till we actually get what we want/need/require. If Survivors were crap as bad as killers then the forums would be flooded with them posts instead.

Games balanced Otz and Dowsey who eats, breathes, and poops this game for a paycheck can 4K so obviously anyone even "YOU on a Console with a controller and 20+ fps drops" can. DBD Forum Logic at its finest ;)

It actually doesn't when we used to say Do Bones that referd to breaking totems to stop NoEd from procing or to get rid of a Hex with Undying.....since Killers can't break Totems Do Bones is not a valid argument because that one survivor not on a Gen is not slowing down the repair speed in the slightest.
Killers also dont have the time to go and find a Boon, if you go look for a Boon you will 98% of the time lose at least 1 Gen......
Now if Killers could break Totems then that argument would be a very valid point.

I agree that the game is survivor favored in the average match, assuming equal skill levels and the killer isn't running one of a handful of a few genuinely busted addons.
However:
- It's not quite as bad as people make it out to be, outlier cases and a few really dumb maps excepted.
- A lot of the issue comes from SBMM pooping itself because someone waited in a queue for too long.
- I still consider killer to be a much more entertaining experience than playing survivor, in part because the role is so much more demanding.
- Too many nerfs to already mediocre killers seem to arise from them overperforming at very low MMRs, which I really dislike.
- The game is better now than it was a year ago.
When one side of a videogame is significantly more frustrated than the other side, doesn't that suggest that maybe something might be a bit squiffy with your game?

As much as I wanna agree, I can't... I've had a game where 3 survs were using boons, 2 on gens, one placing boons and I was chasing one, it's pointless to chase boons if 2 are on gens

I've played Killer and Survivors recently, one DC'd because it was a spirit and honestly, it was an easy game, I see why DbD has gone to #########

Its situational, and when survivors use them even if they get off gens to replace it there will always be someone else doing a gen. Boons just make it easier to recover from their blunders
