so im still new at the game but i grasped the basics mechanically, i placed down traps for like 3 minutes after match started, the game was going pretty good, i watched a few dbd video before and i know how to coutner a flashlight after taht i somehow managed to trap most of them everytime, i killed all of them and in the end match they were saying im smurfing and its bannable, i dont really know if smurfing is bannable but im not smurfing so.. is it just because theyre bad? theyre flaming me because they lost their items in the chat too, i didnt take a ss because im afraid to get flamed too much so i just instantly left

My friend I would like to welcome you to DBD. As killer you're going to get flamed no matter what you do. Have a good game and win? Prepare to be insulted and flamed and get accused of camping, tunneling etc etc. Had a bad game and lost? Be prepared to be called a baby killer and flamed for not winning. So basically no matter what you do you're gonna get flamed for it. A lot of people in DBD are extremely toxic and the only thing you can do is ignore it.

You did the right thing by leaving the endgame chat as soon as it appeared. A lot of players on both sides won't hesitate to run their mouths (and fingers) in the endgame chat, so there's really no reason to stay for their tantrums.

Best thing to do is never take what these people say or do personally (because they honestly don't know you at all, you're just another faceless Killer to them and they feel free to abuse) and just move on to the next game! After all, the game is played for fun, so there's no need to subject yourself to these people. Just play, enjoy your games and let these people be miserable on their own.
