My list of current concerns in DBD
when killer insta DC at game start, we lose PIP and offering (screenshots), we shouldn't this is BS
people bring their low rank friends in games, lobby should not accept starting a game with a high difference in rank. We have a 'ranking' system in place, which at least could sort inexperienced people from highly experienced people. When a rank 2 player invites his rank 19 friends in a game, I don't know the magic behind but they'll come to my game (rank 10), the match making is then ######### for everyone, killer AND players. Killer because the experienced player will ######### on him easily the whole game, and players because the low rank friends will do the most stupid things all the time, when they'll not simply do nothing hiding in a corner or all kind of idiotic things like that. I think the maximum difference in rank should be 5 ranks max from one end to the other in the lobby. Or else simply remove ranks altogether and just say we don't care about balance, fun, or anything at all for the game. I actually think in this case the higher rank of SWF should be used for matchmaking. It would at least prevent the 'exploit' for higher rank players to play in low rank lobbies and ruin the killer and survivor experience.
OR one good idea would be to have two systems, a SWF mode, and a solo mode, then killer can have option to refuse SWF in matchmaking games. That would help lot of 'balance issues' regarding communication being way too helpful (I admit I sometimes play with friend and abuse that on TeamSpeak), and removing the fear of not knowing everything that is happening on the map.deranking. too much people derank on purpose and this is the same as having a SWF rank 2 + rank19, it breaks the ranked match making and eventually kills the fun on both sides. You anti deranking system does not work at all. I also see way too much streamers deranking on purpose, live, like it's OK no problem...

The killee dc is weird. It shows you "lost a pip" but its not true. Unless it bugs out0

OK I see"Rank progress: 0" and not "-1" OK still I need to verify next time but I don't keep track of my pips usually so hard to track if I actually lose pip or not in this case.

The lost pip is just a visual bug that is part of the game for years now. Yes you lose offerings when the killer DCs.
The killer even loses his addons btw and he only gets compensated 2,5k BP for 4 DCs together.By the way, your screenshots show that you didnt lose your pip at all and were granted with 5k BP. The killer gets hurt a lot more if survivors DC
Yes matchmaking should match a SWF against a killer on the same rank as the highest member of the SWF. (they have voice comm to their advantage anyway). I dont think that matchmaking shoudl prevent players from palying with each other, rank reset happens too often for that and you can climb too fast.
If you dont give any incentive to join the SWF queue, nobody will want to play vs them because of the obvious unbalance.
Deranking is a thing in every game, you cant prevent it since people SHOULD derank if they are bad.
In DBD the actual problem is that everybody ranks up too fast and that there are literally no rewards or ranked at all. Additionally rank resets every month and is completely meaningless because its too easy to pip0
