Why was trickster nerfed?

The whole point of Trickster was supposed to be a Killer that wasnt as quick as damaging survivors as Huntress since she is able to instantly take away a heatth state from Survivros with her hatchet and Trickster is supposed to move around with his power alot quicker and do damage gradually so you had different play styles. But all you've done from PTB is just nerfed him even more and made him unplayable in higher ranks.

In the PTB, Trickster was balanced in a good way where you reduced the laceration meter so that survivors can get bursted down quicker but at the same time a good survivor was able to break line of sight and decay the laceration meter quicker since it started 10 seconds earlier and it decayed faster. So, playing around loops was dependant on who mind games and plays better. Me and my friends played Tricksters in PTBs at red ranks and there were able to sometimes get 4ks if they were good but also no kills if they just didnt use their power right or we mind gamed loops alot better. Trickster in PTB was in a better position than what he was previously and if he was too strong for some people then a good change would be make his laceration meter 7 instead of 6 and make the laceration start decaying in 15 seconds instead of 10 seconds.

Instead, BHVR decides that the smart thing to do is nerf him more than buff him? you took away 16 knives from his kit and reduced his speed....why? you literally buffed 1 thing about him in PTB which was his laceration meter and nerfed 2 parts then you nerfed another 2??????? are you crazy thinking that would be better for him. You nerfed him 4 times over thinking that would honestly give him better generator control and pressure against survivors when there is no real decent killer perks unless its Pop, Corrupt, BBQ and Iron maiden/Devour which are predictable perks.

BHVR please just stop nerfing killers that dont need to be nerfed and just need to be straight buffed, then start updating existing killer perks that have been collecting dust over the many years. I play alot of survivor and I can clearly see this is a heavy survivor sided game due to the perk differences and killers not being able to hold their ground anymore. Then your game might start to look balanced enough to be enjoyable. Ive even made a video Ill link later so people can see the difference in pressure between Pre buff Trickster and New Trickster because at the end of the day the Old Trickster had more pressure than whatever this new waste of time was.

I mean the nerf was kinda need for his big damage buffs. He would be insane if he could outrun you and also at the same time trowing randomly XX knives at you without problem.

His movement speed addons are underrated and more knives are handy.

knife nerf was because of the potential injuries per reload was too much and too forgiving.

at 8 knives per down, he effectivly had potential for 7 injures per reload with a half of wiggle room for misses.

at 6 knives per down, 60 knives would have been 10 which was way too much.

44 knives is 7 potential injures per reload, it was an adjustment to keep the injuries per reload the same.
