Rift fragments should translate into Iridescent shards after reaching 70 tier
Just like in the title, it doesn't have to be anything crazy, maybe 5 shards per fragment or something, so people who already finished the rift don't feel like they are 'missing out' on the event rewards. Maybe even a small counter to show how much 'above the program shards' you farmed or something?
Just a small 'feels good' feature which would be yet another meter a player can track and feel good about, having this little 'goals' - Something DbD does pretty well already to keep the players coming back for more.

I would love this. We can always use more shards, and it's a little annoying to max the rift early and then get blanks for the rest of it, especially when there's shard giveaways.

@XStormyXDayzX This is interesting, but BloodPoints are too easy to farm and it migt be too easy to buy non license dlcs. Unless the amounts would be very small. Still interesting though!
I miss times when survivors couldn't find ultra-rare things in chest, it really motivated to grind bloodwebs if someone liked to use broken crap.

Absolutely agree.
Rift fragments after completing the rift should award something. Maybe a tier 71 could accumulate excess fragments that could be exchanged for either shards or blood points. (1 fragment for 5 shards or 500 bp)
I also would like to see rewards for each tier of the free track (just like a few shards or bp).

They won't do this because it would cut into their profits by encouraging more people to use shards rather than real money. A shame.

no that would reduce the obnoxious grind and we can't have that. however since you can buy stuff that can be bough for money irishards it makes sense why they wouldn't
shards givaways are extremely rare and usually give less than 1000
