To achieve balance you need to take 2 steps back

Game evolves, changing its pace, but the core has not changed ever since.

2022 goal should be to improve both side core QoL and redesign maps.

Spawns on generator is rng, which is quite successful tbf and i see it as really strong early advantage for gen rush.

Safe/god loops should be reduced in size. eg Red forest (?), backwater swamps with whole log and pallet. It is impossible to mind game and it feels an eternity before pallet drops, forces into a break, and it connects into the second loop.

Looping should be more dynamical as running across map rather then circling same tile for a price of a generator.

Fixation to resolution since streched resolution, as it is clearly exploit, since you have increased fov.

Aim dressing vs spinning survivors is quite annoying. Survivor that can do 360 without loosing a momentum, with the lunge, you grt kinda “snapped” on the location, where it ends clearly as a miss. It is not viable and basic m1 is most useful. Therefore if he does try to 360 while hugging, it takes a lottery again to try and spin with him and landing a hit. Otherwise you end up in a different direction being quite.

Speaking of 360ing it does occasionally quite broken mechanic.

Reviving downed survivor is being protected from the grab should be possible in killers favour, as it is another second chance that can easily prevent a hook (especially at exit gates).

Boons are not worth to mention what tweaks do they need.

Fixing core of the game is much harder and it does take a lot of great ideas and hard effort. But that way, you can ensure more balance, more non-meta or metas and definetly broader spectre of a killer roster being seen ingame

That is definitely the problem. Not enough core changes.

I sure hope the BHVR approach isn't solely about money or else much needed core changes will never happen. Right now it feels like, 'You don't like how survivor/killer beat you with ____ perk/ability because you had no way to counter? Buy the new survivor/killer with perks and abilities that counter the perks and abilities you hate!'

Just sell the freaking cosmetics and work on the actual game instead of predictable counters for counters that will inevitably require new counters to counter them.
