Why can’t I drop a pallet when I’m injured to stop another hit?
Is anyone else experiencing this? I am hit by the killer I’m running towards the pallet I have time to pull the pallet down to save myself if not stun the killer as well. But because I’m injured (I’ve only noticed this when I’m injured it doesn’t happen if I’m healthy) I don’t get the prompt to pull down the pallet and the killer is allowed to walk through the pallet and hit me.

My partner actually complained about this recently (and I just thought it was misjudgment…)
what platform are you playing on? Mouse and Keyboard or controller? Did you rebind any buttons?

This happens to me a lot. It's almost like if the killer is too close to the pallet, it doesn't let me do it. It's annoying and gets me downed a ton. Now, I rapid hit space to throw pallets because I'm afraid it's gonna happen again. It doesn't help lol.

I assume what you mean by this is if the killer is bodyblocking the pallet throw prompt, which is intentional. You can't throw the pallet if the killer is standing in the spot you need to stand to perform the throw animation. 99.8% of the time it's better to not throw the pallet though because after a killer hits you they are on a 3 second cooldown from swinging and you just got a speed boost so by choosing to throw the pallet you are just wasting it and losing out on your speed boost.

PC with XBox controller and rebound buttons..
They specifically said it only happens when they are injured and it doesn’t sound like the killer is blocking the pallet from the description…

Happened to me today, I got to a pallet in time against a Trickster and he was in it too but I couldn't drop it down so he hit me and downed me :/

It does it to me when I got self care lets me heal instead of dropping pallet so I went with it the killer let me to we became great friend he even let me escape lmao
