you nerfed nemesis...
in part 2 of the developer update, it has been revealed that nemesis' best addons are getting nerfed
The Nemesis
- Iridescent Umbrella Badge: Increased duration of Exposed effect to 60 seconds (was 30)
- Shattered S.T.A.R.S Badge: Increases zombie movement speed by 150% for 60 seconds (was 100% for 60 seconds)
- Marvin’s Blood: Increases mutation rate by 25% (was 33%)
- Mikhail’s Eye: Increases zombie movement speed by 35% (was 50%)
while the ultra rare addon changes are good, why nerf marvin's blood and mikhail's eye? they're not stupidly good, they're just good addons nothing super good like iri head or pinky finger

The real question is why they're nerfing a Zombie add-on, when they've yet to fix any of the issues with the zombies AI?

Most of the add-on nerfs in the patch seem to be filler changes and just straight up unjustified changes no one asked for.

I feel like the 8% nerf on Marvin's Blood is going to be completely negligible, and may result in you needing one extra hit at most to reach tier three.
It really (probably) isn't a big deal, and the Iridescent buffs more than make up for it.

My guess? Stats.
Nearly every single Nemesis runs Marvin's Blood to make it so 1 uninfected tentacle and 1 infected tentacle gets you to tier 2. Essentially, that add on makes Nemesis's power not take forever to come online. They probably saw that it had like... an 80% usage rate and nerfed it without thinking about why it was used so much.
Probably a similar story for the Mikhall's Eye. If you want your Zombies to be consistently useful and harass Survivors... that's 100% the most useful add on to run. I would imagine most Nemesis players want the zombies to not be dead weight... so... they run Mikhall's eye. So it probably also has a very very high usage rate.

it probably will be a big deal, if you infected and then hit the infected survivor with your tetntacle you would get tier 2 immediately which would help ending that first chase a big lot
with these changes it might take two hits instead to reach tier 2

I do think that marvin's should have been nerfed HOWEVER, they should have buffed basekit infection. Also tf is with the eye change? Who was complaining about that?

Bhvrs thinking: Nerf Marvin's Blood that way killers will use the two zombie killing addons to gain tiers and we won't have to fix how stupid the zombie AI is if they have to kill the zombies to power up.

This game is not worth playing. These Devs do not care, and because of that I no longer care about their game.
All they care about is money, I would rather we simply never got a part 2 at all.

Their stats showed people always used them so they assumed they were op and nerfed them for no reason.

One extra hit *is* a big deal and that is why the add-on is borderline core on nemesis.

This is a dev team that only uses statistics as a way to understand their game. Big number for usage on this addon? Hmmm, let's nerf it. Must be super strong! This'll encourage diversity, while we simultanously give these tiny buffs to addons that will still remain hot useless garbage! We don't know that because only STATS can tell us, but that's what we believe!
But yknow, for some reason that doesn't apply to things that ACTUALLY need changing. Thank god marvins blood and stale biscuit were touched before alchemist ring, COH, DH, and NOED, right?!

Unless it's Dead Hard of course which is used by 90% of survivors I go against. That's fine lmao.

- Hmm...People uses 2 addons 90% of the time (because this killer sucks and/or the majority of his addons are worthless)
- Nerf those addon.
- Buff the others 20 situational addon (+0.2% , blindness, hemorrhage, the ######### undetectable on Huntress)
- Congrats, "build diversity" !

They just don't want brown (Twins) and yellow addons to be the strongest and most used. But better to nerf these addons while buffing the same basekit so it makes no change at all other than not needing brown and yellow addons as much.
