Is franklins classified as toxic or no?
Comments
-
Yup.
Now go back and notice there are 4 survivors.
And 1 killer.

So? What's your point? That Killers should not use perks because 'it stops Survivors items!'?
Or is this another 'But MY FUN!' whine in disguise? Guess what? If the Killer kills you; you lose the item! Should the Killer not kill you, because it's toxic now? Because 'my fun!'
Also; this.

Just like people said with teabagging, it's not toxic, it's strategizing

Is it available for you to use in this game? Yes..
Then its not toxic...
Stop trying to censor and fit yourself into a box for other peoples enjoyment.
Play the game for yourself, use perks, for yourself. If people get mad.... ######### em. They're soft and not worth the effort.
This game has balance issues yes, but if something is broken, it'll be called out, then wait for the devs to fix it.

Perks make a big difference too, yet survivors can remove some killer perks from the game completely, and don't even need a special item, perk, or offering, they just have to hold a button for a few seconds on an item that doesn't run away and is even lit up for your convenience.

Apparently some people define 'Toxic' as 'It makes Survivors unhappy/inconvenienced'. 🙃
Franklin's is toxic because Survivors want to keep items.
NoED is toxic because Survivors want to pound gens.
I've heard BBQ called toxic because it gives me aura reading. I even had one Surv claim I was 'boosting' because of the bonus BP it gives. 🤦♂️

All perks are toxic since it reduce the other sides chance of winning and that is a threat to survivors and killers "fun" which is very serious. Play without perks and don't bring addons or items because if you do..toxic! If you got franklins against you then why bring a toxic item in the first place? Did you not think about the killers "fun"?
😄

For one perk it can give a bit of value because it can counter 4 items but there are stronger perks out there that are more game impactful and better perks to run. But that's not he topic being discussed... the topic at hand is "is franklins toxic?" no its just a perk that counters items.
People have already listed the things you can do when the killer runs franklins so I won't bother again, give em a try. Don't even bring an item and roll the dice with chests, its all the fun of gambling with no real initial cost if losing your item is that big of a deal for you.
My favorite post is the one about you losing the flashlight and it being fun ruining because you didn't get to use it as you intended. BOO HOO, that's a you problem not a franklin's problem.

Who gives a ######### it's a perk use it
2 -
No I don't think it's toxic. It can definitely be frustrating when the only reason you run certain items is for challenges, but not toxic.
1 -
Just don't bring items. Franklins only works if the survivors bring an item and are stupid/greedy enough to focus on getting the item back. You don't need the item.
2 -
No perk is "toxic"

For me the only toxic perk in the whole game is Head On.
It's usually used by premades for bullying the killer.
1 -
Well brand new toolbox’s and purple flashlights get wrecked that’s why
1 -
Wow,it only works THREE times?!It should be infinite!Like boons, reset them as much as you like.Hexes, noooo! They should auto die at 30 seconds!!!But but I want to tease the killer!!!I want to have fun!!!!Screw the killer!!!

There's also something incredibly funny that the person who thinks removing their item is toxic, but also thinks clicky clicky spam to irritate and upset the killer is harmless and not toxic. It's like a parody.

Survivors can get free items worth 3-7k bp every game. Killers cannot get free addons of any worth. Giving killers a chance to knock those items out of survivor hands and force them to waste time going back to get them (at the cost of a perk slot) seems fine to me.

Everything a killer does is toxic. Its why I dont play anymore. 😂

I'm begging you, please tell me your build you absolute meme lord 🤣🤣you kill me

Just because something isn't enjoyable or because something spoils the fun of the game doesn't mean it's toxic. Treads like this are disgusting and make me sick. Everything in this game is NOT TOXIC. Doesn't matter if it's teabaggin, camping and so on.... the only thing that is toxic is the endgame chat and nothing else. Stop calling game elements toxic or creating threads with this topic, no matter if it is toxic or not. It's terrible...

Anything that could be seen as inhibiting the fun of a survivor is toxic and needs to be destroyed immediately.

it's not toxic at all, survivors shouldn't rely on items too much anyway. and if you REALLY want a medkit then just go open a chest or something
1 -
After you use it just go hide in the corner for 30 seconds and they can pick their item back up. Then you can apologize and send them flowers, maybe they'll forgive you.
Honestly, if you're trying to make survivors pat you on the head, bring no perks or addons, they don't like any of them.

Lol. It is a little annoying but not toxic. No perk is toxic.
2 -
It's a wasted perk slot on everyone except maybe 2-3 killers that are countered by items. Not sure how it can be "toxic" unless you're running a meme build to make sure survivors lose their items forever.

Again just stop relying on items, you might even get better by doing so.
On a very extreme rare occasion i use an item, and if I lose it i don't care about it.
I escape just as much without an item as when i use an item, and yes i do escape a lot.
The fact you rely so much on your items makes you delusional that Franklin is strong.
It is only strong against swf who find it fun to bully with flashlights, or with toolboxes and rush gens as fast as possible.
Other than that it's just a perk that loses its value as soon as the items are gone.

No.
LOL that is annoying.
im afraid to ask is Jills Mine Trap Toxic? I love it to use it. LOL
I like Franklin's as well. If i see 3 or more flash lights tho. LOL i bring that perk that makes it so you don't get blinded. Because i know 10000000% they are going to do it.

Nope not toxic never has been.
