Disconnects should count as hooks
Hi BHVR and DBD Forum goers. Disconnects should count as hooks, meaning if a survivor DC's, it should immediately trigger hook perks - yes including Scourge hook perks. There have been several times where a survivor on death hook will deny me a Pop Goes the Weasal or Pain Resonance trigger, which is frustrating to deal with. Survivor's have gotten several quality of life changes recently, including the dead hard and pallet stun validation changes. It would be nice to give killers a nice QOL change that helps overcome a minor exploit in the game. Thank you.

I just want my damn BBQ Stacks when some baby survivor DCs. The rest I could take it or leave it, I just want my 25% BP...

It would mean that DCs would also count as killers, which would push killers up in the SBMMR.
Honestly, DCs screw survivors a lot more than they screw killers.

It's possible to separate 'DC = 1 hook state' from 'DC = kill'. Which actually... do DCs count as kills? What if I am going for an archive to kill all 4 survivors and 1 DCs? I should get kill credit for that.

I think it does. But it triggers nothing.
Watched a game and someone dced and the Hook counter went to 3.

Yes it will for a scoring purpose, but not a perk activation purpose.

Tbf it is pretty lame that grim embrace is unironically a dead perk if a survivor dcs without being hooked because you can never get their token

Completely forgot about how this would help grim embrace too

To be fair, I am all for a change so survivor DC's will at least give me the stacks / tokens from the hook.
