So you're shaming killers for playing to win? So cute.
100 -
The Nurse got a Hook in the Basement, why should she leave?
62 -
Killers aren't desperate. They're sick and tired of survivors calling everything we do "lazy gameplay" when all survivors do is run second chance after second chance. So we just play purely to win, and if you don't like it, tough noogies.
63 -
Maybe you should have helped your team by not dc...
38 -
Idk why do survivors have to act like silver spooned spoiled brats when they don't get their way?
32 -
Think about this for a second.
Camping is about as much fun for the killer as it is for the survivors.
If killers are finding it necessary to camp right now, could there be several recent changes to the game that make other strategies less viable?
Perhaps a reworked perk that now makes you unhookable from structures on certain maps?
Perhaps a souped up self care for the entire team that also allows a duo to literally heal mid chase?
Perhaps changes to the killer that weren't implemented well?
The killer is there to kill survivors. If it's realistic to do this in the standard, 'fun' way - that's probably what they will do. If they are taking a less fun route, there's likely a mechanical problem with your game.
30 -
Why are you so desperate to escape?
Cause if you weren't, you wouldn't be here complaining about a killer who tries to win or you wouldn't even dc.
26 -
Tips from a solo queue survivor:
Nurse match: Do gens and deal with it.
Demo match: He downed you, deal with it.
21 -
Have you forgotten the golden rule when a killer hooks someone?
I'll help you remember.
After a killer hooks a survivor, the killer has to go to the furthest corner of the map and stay there at least 3 minutes.
Can't believe you forgot about that rule
18 -
I hate that rule
7 -
Playing to win isn't desperate, it's just... pressing an advantage you already have.
It's nice when the killer lets up when they're riding a hard snowball, but ask yourself - do you let up as a survivor when you're rolling the killer? If the answer is no, ask yourself why. Is it because you don't want to prolong the match? Is it because you're afraid that giving the killer any slack could result in them taking the advantage and you sacrificing your escape? Is it because the other side probably isn't going to notice or appreciate you being nice to them anyway? Is it because you just don't care? Because all of these things apply to the other side of the game as well.
There are douchey things killers can do, don't get me wrong, and I'd even argue that some effective strategies are on the douchey side, but hanging around the basement because someone was hooked there isn't a dick move and neither is waiting to get the hatch. It is entirely possible that Demo had a challenge for a 4k or to close hatch.
11 -
Another entitled Ree-C'er.
Shocked.
5 -
This happens on both sides.
6 -
There are players on both sides that view this game like it is their career end goal and like if they don't get a 4k kill or escape their whole life will crumble to pieces.
My advice is don't be one of them. You will thank yourself, and actually enjoy the game.
5 -
So do I but killers have to follow the rules of the survivors you know that, it's the part of the game. ๐
1 -
Proxy camping =/= toxic btw. Also people play killer role for you know... kill people which is their objective.
8 -
Translation From Entitled Survivor To English: 'The Killer did not let one of us escape, so I am shaming them for the 4K, because Killers are not allowed to 4K unless Survivors say so. Everyone (Survivors) know; getting a 4K is sweaty. Be happy with the 3K.'
9 -
You types drive me nutz. No killer should allow free unhooks out of the basement. You took the time to carry down there now capitalize on the 1 way in 1 way out scenario you have. Circle shack, check nearby gen, any of these are fine but don't run across the map and allow a unhook out of there wasting the time and advantage of a survivor down there.
As for closing the hatch before hooking you........Assuming you are serious (I pray your not) it's BP and assurance you can't get there. No one wants to win the game then faulty hook spawns allow a wiggle off and get t-bagged by the one survivor who escaped. Get real dude you clearly only play survivor and expect killers to hook each survivor 1 at a time/ 2 hooking before killing. get off gens for a few seconds and maybe they would.
10 -
As someone who tried a few Killer games recently, don't blame anyone for that.
The game is extremely unfun for Killer. Absolutely zero reason to play Killer and the next patch is 1.5 months away. Enjoy the Survivor queues
23 -
I am shocked! You are sorta defending the killers side? What is this, a sign of he apocalypse? :>
4 -
Maybe we just don't like survivors? I wouldn't call that desperation myself.
5 -
You should of did totems
3 -
And bones!
0 -
Hahahaha i didn't want to say it, cause i was thinking i miss read it or something ๐คฃ
3 -
I've defended both sides. I play killer too, so I do want a balanced game. Even if some people on here think otherwise.
3 -
Ok, now how many second chances were you running?
3 -
Or they could just nerf NOED? It is oppressive and only bad killers need it. Plus it killed my dog. I hate it.
7 -
Of course I was joking, and even if at times you seem a bit survivor sided, I appreciate your balanced stance in this matter :)
0 -
No offense, not trying to be an a hole here.
But you kinda created that yourself, as in the past many things you said was always in favor of the survivors.
No matter how flawed it might have been you almost always went on defending survivors, so you might have people here that are surprised when you make comments that are killer sided ๐โ๏ธ
3 -
Never become a killer main, the number of threads with complaints we would see from you would be impossible to even count. Be happy there are still killers left in this game I don't know how they cope.
7 -
There is this drug called survivor tears. It makes me forget all the pain.
9 -
desperate eh? i had survivors deliberately in my game saboing or trying to sabo the hooks right under my noise to deny me just to be pricks. im glad i only place this game rarely or casual so i can tell you thats why the killer pulls out all the stops if they can to end you all etc .... they probably get annoyed and as the killer well they do their objective which is too kill .... lol
3 -
I do defend survivors a lot because of all the complaining about them on here. I defend killers when I disagree with what is being said about them as well.
Edit- No offense taken. It's not easy to offend me. Lol

Remember kids:
Killers getting a 4K = Desperate. Sweaty. 'Be happy with the 3K!'
Survivors getting a 4E = 'You're not meant to win every game! ยฏ\_(ใ)_/ยฏ *Flashlight clicking intensifies* '
18 -
Camping at 1 hook is a horrible stradigey, you should have banged out gens as fast as possible and let her have the 1/0k
for the demo you should have crawled the other wat to look for hatch, that was a risky play, they should have just hooked you.
2 -
Im guessing in the Demo game the guy crawled to the "comp corner" and the killer had no choice.
1 -
In all fairness, one survivor can't escape 4 times in a match, so this isn't applicable to anything except a 4 person SWF, who are ALSO desperate and sweaty lol
1 -
As a 700 hour killer main, I don't understand whats so stressful about killer. I mean its a player vs player focused game so some times you will be dunked on, sometimes you do the dunking. And some times you have a close match where you take a lot of hook states but you have to fight for each one!
GRANTED I am 32 years old so that may effect my outlook. I also have a very strong positivity bias where the average person has a mild to strong negitivity bias.
2 -
Yeah but it was more a statement of this game in general. Killers are evil and sweaty if they go for a 4K. They are expected to give the hatch because some needy children demand a win.
But those same people who say 'You don't need a 4K!' or 'He played sweaty because 4K!' never seem to give the Killer a kill if a 4E is going to happen. ๐ค
6 -
Ok well some people enjoy stress I have a few of those at work, they can run around like crazy all day and say they feel no stress at all. Don't know if age has anything to do with it I'm 12 years older than you are ๐ But I quit killer mostly because I felt it was too stressful. The games where I camped the basement while enjoying a whisky after work was pretty ok though..

The games where I camped the basement while enjoying a whisky after work was pretty ok though..
I'm now imagining a Bubba, wearing a stained and torn suit, sitting in front of 2 hooked Survivors in the basement while enjoying a snifter of brandy. ๐
4 -
It must be my positivity bias.
See most people will have a bad time if they have 1 bad game to 9 good games. This is a trait from the survival side of our brain but is a severe handicap when it comes to recreation.
I lack this handicap. Additionally my strong possitivity bias allows me to count a game as a possitive even if only one little thing goes right. Like I complete a tomb challenge but it was a 0k? Whatever. It was a good game!

BHVR has pushed the game into this position. The absolute most efficient way to gain MMR and hold it is to camp and tunnel early. With all the new changes and the sweatier matches, camping and tunneling became efficient.
Add the new Boil Over bully builds and you have more reasons to not risk letting someone off the hook.
I hate it, and can't stomach playing killer much anymore, but that is where we are.
6 -
always place a portal on top of basement๐ญ
0 -
For me itโs to pip up but I give hatch if can most of the time
0 -
If a demo downs you be happy, he lets out a roar saying ,โdonโt worry im forced to do this but I will let you go soonโ
2 -
what do you consider a second chance perk? Not being mean but I want to know if I run any of them lmao
0 -
I'm even less young than you are (by a couple of years) and it's not the stress that I have issue with. It's the broken mechanics.
I like a game that's difficult and fair (e.g. the various "Souls"-like series, a certain upcoming 4vs1 that "everyone" will want to try, ...).
It to "win" I have to play in a boring way and put "honor" aside, I'm not interested.
I guess I'll check again with the next patch and see what else was destroyed.
I've heard they are thinking making the Nurse easier. I'm pretty sure it will be the final nail in the coffin for the game as far as I'm concerned.
2 -
Because the game isn't fun anymore for killers and they need to do It because the actual meta is stupid.
0 -
Lazy gameplay? I'm pretty sure holding m1 on a generator and pressing E when in need for distance is about as "lazy" as that. All games are "lazy" if you dumb it down to that.
