RPD is OP for Survivors

Playing a game of killer as the Huntress and a team of 4 playing survive with friends all using boon totem perks, the perk which allows survivors to wiggle out faster, and what seems like soul guard. They all swarmed the library at first and set up boon totems while one survivor went and worked on gens. I chased them around the top of the library getting countless downs but it was impossible to make it to a hook. They were completely safe as long as they got downed in the library. They chose RPD as an offering so they knew what they were doing. I have to say it was not fun for me and possibly things may need to be changed on RPD specifically with the library. Maybe put totems as far away from the library as possible so boons don’t have that much of an effect or put a hook in the library either on the second floor or first floor. I felt like I was trolled big time and it was not fun.

    With the current state the Boil over build is in, RPD is just broken, survs just run up to the library and they are unhookable, even pre-boil over buffs. Hopefully the Devs see these complaints and change hook spawns for RPD(and other maps) and/or tone down boil over a bit.

    However, this is a problem for multiple maps like Ironworks of Misery. I watched one of my friends get downed at least 5 times at the top of the main building and only get hooked like once. Hopefully changes come soon, in the form of hook spawns or perk changes.

    RPD is a terrible map for both sides if you ask me. The sole exceptions being Pig and Scratched Mirror Myers, which are broken as hell on RPD.

    Even playing as those two, I'd rather have a better map.

    It's nicely done, since it was ported from Resident Evil.. but it's badly done in terms of a DBD map. Too many hallways, and dead ends, and the place is too dark, can't see where I'm going half the time, this is a problem only on this map, I see just fine in every other one.

    Terrible but generally survivor sided by many reason.

    Main reasons being: can't find stairs to go up/down stairs to gens you know someone is working on. Not finding a hook cause the hook placements are bonkers. Not being able to get to the backyard exit gate because the map is not designed for this kind of game. Totems spawn in stupid places, and you need to check both floors for that stupid boon, having troubles finding stairs for that.

    Lots of those reasons also apply for survivors though, finding gens, finding a path to help someone off hook, finding totems, etc etc..

    It's a bad map for both sides for pretty much the same reasons.
