Is there actually anyway to play the Game except as Pallet Tour Simulator?
Since, obviously, it's got almost nothing on it but pallets, leading to the somewhat comical "reset Bloodlust and chase every time you go near one".

Um... Well, no, not really. But it is fun to play Lumberjack Bubba on that map. I refuse to facecamp on The Game because I need to saw that wood, cuh.

If I could pick a Killer after winding up there, I guess that would be an option.

You could always play an anti loop killer and make them go for the "hold w" approach for a bit of freshness.

I mean, this is The Game the map, where even if they predrop every pallet there's such an abundance of them they won't run out anyway.

Why yes there is. I was watching a friend play Bubba for a daily and he had a basement hooks challenge. He used insidious to sit behind the shower wall in the bathroom, bingo bango everyone's hooked in the basement.
That's basically the only other option.

Oh sorry. I though it meant the game in general and not "The Game" map. Though, I do have more luck on it as Trickster. Mainly because you can lazer beam them down on any loop on the top floor. Bottom floor however, all you can really do is break pallets in a way that keeps them in the room with you or zones them into a place where you've already broken pallets.
But saying "just play X" feels more of a cop out than an actual solution, so no. There really isn't a way... and God help you if they have Windows of Opportunity.

Well, you could play Nurse but that's sort of the answer to everything

At least until they destroy her. In the last Q&A, someone told something about making her easier. I expect the worst (probably the last nail in the coffin as far as I'm concerned).

The only times this map is playable if you have some pallet breaking ability. Wraith with shadowdance is pretty fun on the game

It's kind of enjoyable on Nemesis because it turns into the pallet smasher 5000 tour.

Try Billy with lopro. Makes him better than bubba at dealing with pallets imho.

I'll work on my clairvoyance to try and have him when I'd wind up here. :T

Same. I personally don't hate the map. There is an abundance of pallets yes but the vast majority are unsafe asf and easy to get hits at. If you just kick, kick, kick then yes not a fun map.

You have to remember to balance gen patrol with pallet smashing. It's a very easy map once half the pallets are gone, but if you don't remember to chase people off of gens in the meantime, they'll all be gone by that point, too.
Don't feel bad about tunneling and camping someone to death early in the game, especially if you're playing as a killer with no antiloop potential. Puts the entire game in you favor, plus other survivors will waste time trying to distract you and taking protection hits once they realize you're tunneling.
It's also a lot easier with slowdown perks. I had a game earlier today with Legion where I was running Ruin/Undying/Pentimento/Thana, and I got a 4K with like three gens left. They spent the whole game healing themselves and trying to do totems in between getting hooked. (People say not to heal against Legion, but if you're running Thana on a heavy slowdown build, they will.)

Well I was suggesting to try using Billy with lopro in general, but you do make a good point; if you hone your psychic abilities to a high level, perhaps you can just turn all pallets into dream pallets!
Best of luck :D

I have a build I call high fiber legion. Fire up, brutal strength, enduring and spirit fury. It's truly awful, but also very fun.

Ain't the solution obvious then, fam? Always play Bubba! Duh.

Thats actually ... quite insidious! People expect the old insidious camping Bubba behind the corner in the basement itself, but that one auto registers on kindred. This approach is kinda ingenious in its insidiousness. Nice!

That does sound fun.
