Anyone else feel the COH nerf was good?
I mean I feel like boons in general need a change but the nerf to COH was actually decent especially if you run sloppy since it becomes useless. I just feel like it could use some more tweaks but overall I think its in a good spot

No. It didn't change much of anything. A few extra seconds on a heal is nothing.

I mean its like a slightly more okay self care. I think it shouldn't reward additional healing progress towards others (Or at least a much smaller value) but with the time taken to bless the totem and heal with a 25% debuff (50% if using sloppy) it kinda makes it a really bad perk. Its in an above average spot but with minor tweaks and removals it could be a balanced perk.

Actually if Coh doesnt exist, Boon mechanic isnt that bad. Other 2 Boon requires in contact with Killer to make use of it. Often it would get disable before survivor to make a use.
Coh is a Boon that you only need to bless on a totem near a complete Gen to make it lives forever, and they save 12sec PER heal, for the exchange of 14sec blessing.
I really think Boon should be used as aggressive purpose like Shadowstep & Peno. Replace Coh with Boon: Vigil that allow recover while running in Boon range would make it inline with 2 other Boon.

Yep, it was a good nerf. I feel like it's in a very good spot right now. I've also seen a lot more killers use sloppy since the nerf. Overall, I feel like CoH doesn't need any nerfs.

The nerf is a step in the right direction, but there's still the issue of COH providing infinite Self Care to the whole team and Boons going through two floors.

I wish they would buff it even more so that killers could finally get the memo that tunneling is efficient. It is my dream that one day the game is played properly instead of the glorification of throwing that we get from both sides.
Us versus them? Nah. They are together in how bad at the game they are. Unified through their shared gameplay experience. It is beautiful in its own way.

that tunneling is efficient
Allow me to nitpick as a former tunneling enthusiast and say that it can be efficient. You need to know when to tunnel.

I don't like tunnel or camp people. But that's me ofcourse.
For topic, CoH is still good perk, nerf did not change so much. And actually heal speed was not problem. People hate it is infinite. I don't mind so much but i can see another nerf for CoH.

I've actually just learned that there is a 50% healing speed penalty on self heals now. I do think that it does make the perk way more balanced; if i'm understanding everything correctly.

That was always there. It's the reason why healing yourself was slower then healing others

Maybe it's just me, but as survivor i haven't noticed a difference from before the nerf.

It was completely pointless and may as well not have even been done for the impact it had. COH is still completely broken
3 -
There's a very clear difference. The bar is now red.

It’s still incredibly strong and blessing a totem isn’t enough of a time sink for the benefits.

It didn't change anything, CoH is still the second most overpowered Perk in the game and damn near uncounterable when there's atleast 2 of them
0 -
What’s the first? And I mean take away the healing benefit you get from healing others or getting healed and I think it’d be fine.

Apart from the color difference to the previous bar, I haven't noticed the longer healing time. Like, for example the difference between blessing a dull totem vs blessing a hex totem. Which is very noticeable.

It was a good nerf but I think it needs a range reduction. I think all boon totems' ranges should be reduced to somewhere between 16-20m.

well the addition is only 4 seconds however combine other healing factors like sloppy it reduces it to the same heal speed as self care. All I think it needs is make it so it only has the self heal effect not the bonus healing speed effect.

No, it didn't address the issue and was clearly a slap on the wrist change in a hope to shut killers up and create the optic of actually caring.

Dead Hard. Free, uncounterable distance, no requirements, easy to use and is almost impossible to fail, unless you're in a dead zone injured (in which case it's your fault), or you're just extremely bad. Your CoH nerf would kill it tbh. A 32 second heal that requires to bless a Totem for 12 seconds is too weak. CoH should've never existed to begin with, it's either too overpowered or too weak

Well one is like a 4 second difference and one is 14.

It didn't change what's wrong with the perk: the ability of giving the entire team a free medkit. Not even mentioning it still stacks with medkits and other healing perks so the speed penalty can easily be avoided.
In my opinion it needs a total rework to do something different. It simply can't do what it already does without either being unbalanced or being a trash perk.

Actually I think in general the devs prefer to do incremental numerical changes to try and avoid overtuning things. They realized they needed to nerf the healing speed but likely want to be a little cautious by how much, so they’re starting at 75% and monitoring it to see if it needs further reduction.

As I said, I didn't notice a difference and I doubt other players have noticed one.

Sloppy would also affect SC. I mean, that's what sloppy is supposed to do.

Every CoH nerf is good, but this one wasn't enough. I tried "nerfed" CoH yesterday and laughed my ass off after I saw that "nerf".
0 -
didn't change anything the boon is still too strong

The COH nerf was good, boons could still maybe use a minute cooldown after the killer snuffs them.

What nerf? The devs said they nerfed it but nothing noticeable changed. 🙃

Same as pop nerf. Not noticeable

Just let me break the totem and were good.
