Blight takes NO Skill
Yes I said it, he takes no skill and is perhaps the most braindead killer in DBD. Let’s go over a few reasons why.
- He’s a 4.6 movement speed Killer with with arguably the best base kit power and mobility in the game.
- He’s Anti-Loop because of the exploits he can do in game to get hits that should not be possible.
- He has some of the most broken add-ons in the game.
I just don’t understand how the devs haven’t done anything about him yet to be honest. You can’t sit here and tell me “he takes skill” or anything similar to that. Because looking down at an object before rushing and flicking your mouse just is Soo hard right? And that’s not even explaining his busted add-ons…. Whats that? You hit a survivor with your power and they made good distance on you? Don’t mind it cause your alchemist ring and blighted crow will let you catch up and down them again in about 4 seconds. Yup a whole 2 health states in the span of 10 seconds just cause of 1 add-on. What’s that? Your tinkerer went off? Don’t worry just rush to the gen in no time and let ruin take care of it. What’s that? You can’t hit a survivor with your power at a loop or tile? Don’t worry just point your head down at the wall or an object before you rush and you can slide away and flick. Wash, rinse, and repeat. Good Job BHVR.

Blight has a single exploit, and that's Lag Flick. Everything else is fair game, also you should play him before calling him easy

News flash, I have. In fact I’ve played every killer on the roster and put a good amount of time into them. Everyone on these forums thinks I’m the typical “survivor main” as they say yet they don’t realize I play both sides but I just prefer survivor. That being said, I’ve played blight and have pulled off everything I typed about and it’s ridiculously broken.

Have you even played Blight?
I just got him a week ago, and a quarter of the time I rush, I miss the survivor, shoot far into the distance, and completely lose them between the "aaaah what the hell" and the distance/stun animation. Using his power for anything more than map mobility requires a lot of calculation, map and vector knowledge, and has tons of room for error.
You can dislike him or think he's too powerful, but saying he takes no skill is like saying Nurse takes no skill. His power is one of the most skill-gated powers in the game.

You can't call a Killer op when you've presumably won against him about as much as you've lost. That's called a balanced Killer

I mean my mind is set, and I know others even some people I know in real life that think he’s unbalanced. I don’t know the numbers on wins vs losses against blight but that doesn’t matter I’ve played against the killer and have played as him to know that he’s broken.

Mileena is the best MK character and I love her.
Second, I don't think Blight takes no skill, as you claimed. I don't like going against him, granted, and think he is one of the most boring killers out there.
But...it is not right to ignore the efforts of those who play him, same as every other killer.
They all take at least some skill.

People who say 'Change my mind' are actually saying '(Nothing you can do will) change my mind'.
They are demanding everyone else jump through hoops they invent, and chase goalposts they will move constantly, for their amusement. Never try to actually change their minds, because their minds are already made up. They aren't inviting discussion, because they will activly ignore points they can't deflect.

Blight does take some skill in my opinion. They have to nerf some of his broken addons tho, Alchemist Ring for example.

Thank you I love mileena so much in mk as well. And my bad if I didn’t word the post right. There are some players that play blight who are super good with him like LilithOmen on twitch who put a bunch of hours on him. I think he’s the most boring killer imo as well but I don’t blame the players just how BHVR designed him.

I don't know maon, these sound more like hits towards Blight players more than Blight himself, especially when Mileena talked about Perks. Those Perks don't come with Blight, they're Perks players use. It sounds more like he's shaming Blight players who use these Perks

I listed 2 perks not a whole build? What the heck? Only reason I did it is because I’ve seen others and myself in blight matches where they use ruin and tinkerer. Also you missed the other half of the post where I talked about his design.

I remember my teacher telling me that it’s actually a sign of a more advanced mind to be willing to change your opinion if evidence proves you wrong.
Most people will actually double down on their original belief if you prove them wrong.
Also being willing to hear the other side out is also a sign of a more advanced mind.

They are refering to the character design and how such perks work with his power, never mentioning the players.

Bight takes skill to use and play effectively. If he didn't people wouldn't be getting kills or doing well with him. Just because the blight's skill was better than yours and allowed them to kill you doesn't mean he's unskillful. Its not like you load in as blight and get an automatic 4k, he has to actually play the game.

Nothing. But like GeneralIV said, It’s more about how the perks work with the killers power. Kinda like how there’s an issue going on right now with DMS and the artist’s power. I was not shaming any blight players to begin with I just wanna clear that up. I’m just saying how I personally think he is unbalanced and broken, again something the devs did.
