Blight is fun to play as and against. Especially when the skill level is even. Ion what you’re posting about.
Blight is identical to Nurse. In the sense that if they far outskill you it’s no fun. Except Blight is actually more fair since he doesn’t negate objects.
Blight is the “perfect” killer in the entire game imo. As in a healthy balanced character. Takes knowledge to play him, but less dispiriting as Nurse.

Mileena is just lucky Sonya Blade didn't kick her head off her shoulders the first time they met. Don't get me wrong, she's definitely A tier, but Earth's mightiest woman is that much better

I don't see alot of blights pulling off high level maneuvers, so maybe not so easy to master. Most are easy enough to counter if your environmental awareness is on point.

Actually I find blight as difficult as the nurse to use hence I was happy my ex bought me the blight so I hadn't wasted money on a killer I don't play.

Nurse doesnt take that much skill to play as either. She is extremely easy to play once you get used to her (which takes 5-6 matches)
So i think arguments like "Nurse is a fair killer because she is hard to play" are invalid.

This isnt a skill issue. This is a bad balance issue. Blight is poorly designed. He is literally the definition of an overpowered killer with Tinkerer + Ruin + Undying. He is a killer that can abuse the game mechanics as well, im talking about that mouse DPI ''tech'' (its more like an exploit.. but whatever..) If you really think Blight is fine, you havent faced a good blight yet.

This is the type of sentence killer mains use. OP says they are a survivor main so they probably know how to play against Blight. Maybe the issue here is Blight himself, ever put that option into perspective?

OP hasnt changed his mind because most replies are from killer mains telling him things like ''get better'' ''learn how to counter blight stop crying'' ''you are just an entitled survivor main'' etc. Maybe give a reasonable argument?

Because it is a skill issue? What more do you want. Even with Hex: Ruin, Hex: Undying and Tinkerer, Blight is still beatable, it just requires coordination and game knowledge, which most Survivor players lack

OK? And im saying that most solo teams arent coordinated because they dont have voice comms.. which makes Blight way too strong against most survivor teams.

But Survivors can use their brain and realize that the Killer is using Tinkerer. If they manage to do that, which isn't hard btw, they can just split up on gens and counter Tinkerer. Blight is strong when Survivors don't want to adapt to him

Solo q itself is already painful and stressful enough. Against a killer like blight who’s running their best add-ons and build there’s literally nothing you can really do. How is a survivor going to tell the others he has tinkerer? They’re probably not even going to all be on a gen at the same time. This busted killer destroys even some of the best SWF groups.

Typically it goes something like "Blight is the most balanced killer". Which is proven to be a disingenuous argument, as the second you point out how broken he is compared to the rest of the roster, they'll shift to "yes and every killer should be as broken as Blight".

Tell me when was the last time you saw a solo group 4 escape a high mmr blight with the meta and good add-ons? Not saying that killers shouldn’t get kills but blight is one of the killers that can do it like taking candy from a baby.

I have a 74% escape rate and an average of 2 Survivors escape my SoloQ Trials. SoloQ being the worst thing in the game is a myth

I wouldn't say Blight takes no skill, but he takes WAY less skill than the four survivors by huge long shot. All it takes is a few hours learning Blight and suddenly, you need 4 survivors that need HUNDREDS of hours if not more. Then, they need all the good perks too. He is grossly overpowered.
I've played against new Blights with hardly any perks (like level 1 perks) and they just mow down the team. And my team was iridescent by the way with enough hours to all have good perks. That is bad wrong!
I would say he is equivalent to the very first version of the Nurse. No cooldown to his power. Nurse moved at normal speed when she was released with up to 7 blinks. Blight can have that many slams! And he even has an addon that resets - Nurse has not even had that before.
Spirit has been nerfed because she was too oppressive.
Blight should never be the exception to the rule. He needs massive nerfs as soon as possible.

So you decided to cry instead of getting better at the game? Why do you want a buff to the wait time? I can understand why you are getting so many blight games. You rush the gens and survive and MMR up, blight is current best killer in game. Everyone knows that blight and nurse are the best at very high MMR

Sluzzy, Blight's power is similar to Nurse where it's either extremely good or completely worthless. His power right now is in a good place, it requires a decent amount of skill to land hits with and is great for mobility. I'd argue that it's the fact that he is also a regualr 115 percent M1 killer that makes him Over Powered. Make him 110 percent (or maybe even lower like Nurse) Force him to use his power and then we get to a much better place balance wise.

How are the devs supposed to balance the core game mechanics (gens, maps, spawns, camping, etc.) when the killer roster has outliers that are far stronger than average? Nurse and Blight need to be brought down in line with the rest of the killers or the game will never be improved in terms of balance. Expecting the devs to make changes to the other 24 killers rather than the 2 that overperform is delusional.

Just balance killers around survivors?
Because average strength of killers are nothing, it doesn't matter at all for balancing.

It's better to balance killers around maps than the other way around. Like if they truly want to get at least close to balancing this game they need to fix all of what you said before touching certain killers. Toning down nurse and blight is just a band-aid fix that leads to survivors to still overperform vs all the other killers.

you're half right. blight/nurse takes little skill when you're stacked up on slowdown perks on extremely mobile killers/ignore loops. i've got mad respect for lilithomen tho, guy runs only shadowborn and bbq and still manages to dominate.

The devs have already stated they don't care about high MMR. Multiple times. They care about the average playbase and in the hands of average players blight is hot garbage and has one of the lowest kill rates.
Why do you think killers like Clown literally got add-ons nerfed when Blight add-ons were getting buffed? Cause Clown is literally better at their median skill level.
