Why don’t people understand how to play against Bubba
This was pretty hilarious. As soon as David went down in the basement it was a lost cause. I knew he was gonna get camped so I worked on a gen. Then Steve goes down there for some reason a gets downed😒. all 3dced on hook and I found hatch but damn. I was solo but the mikela and Steve were together idk how you screw up that much. Sometimes it’s not even you, it’s your team

People understand how to play against Bubba. They just hate it, and think "This isn't fun for me!" is a valid argument to attack the way someone else plays and demand BHVR cater to them.
I don't find Dead Hard fun, yet here it remains.

I don’t find dead hard fun either I’m only using it because I’m trying to use up all of Cybils escape cakes before I prestige her. I dont have many perks on her.

If bubba had more map pressure and his ability was a bit stronger at loops you might see less camping from him. Currently while better than Hillbilly, he still has a really high difficulty curve due to the fickleness of the chainsaw's hitbox (which gives you a long stun) to get good at when camping is the easiest thing you can do.

Well tbf dead hard is also actually too strong bubba isn't even top 5 killers.

I have no argument for either of those statements. Bubba isn't even in the top 5 for pick rate, let alone kill rate.

Difference between Deadhard and the playstyle that people abuse with Bubba, is that you can physically play around Deadhard, whereas if you're on the receiving end of that Bubba playstyle, the most you can do is attempt - but you are forcibly taken out of the game.

I doubt there would be less camping. But again it’s the team’s fault and I can’t do anything but watch them die which is unfortunate. Wish this game gave me good teammates

Whataboutism is a dumb way to address something. “You hate get facecamed? Well I hate dead hard, so we’re even.” It’s such a unproductive mindset, eye for an eye, us vs them. Empathy and the ability to at least understand differing opinions goes a long way. By all means stay a bitter salty killer main, but that just does more damage to yourself than anyone you’ll play.

He just has a high skill floor. He's fairly easy to do well with and there's really only a few things to his kit that require much time to get the hang off. It's a similar problem to Freddy before his most recent nerfs. Though bubba doesn't have a bloated kit like Freddy, he does have the easiest base kit one shot in the game to land. So it's really not surprising to see his high kill rates especially when all skill groups are taken into account.

You cannot play around Dead Hard. This has been debunked a thousand times over again and I'm tired of repeating myself. If you Dead Hard for distance to ensure a pallet or window there is no counter.

1.) I am not a Killer main. I ONLY play Killer for daily rituals.
2.) My statement wasn't whataboutism. I'm literally explaining how changes to gameplay do not come as a result of subjective fun. An example is not whataboutism. You missed the point by a mile.

Only reason he has a high kill rate is his camping ability it second to none. Basically, he's very good at securing his kills. However, getting hooks normally without camping is far harder on bubba. Windows are the bane of your existence, the chainsaw takes a long time to rev, and you can bump on all sort of stuff you should bump on, and of course if you do bump you're stunned for minimum 5 seconds which is like eating a Decisive Strike.

Yeah but people should know that if someone is in the basement and there a bubba don’t go down there. Plauge is another one. Why on earth do people keep cleansing vs her I don’t get it man. Solo que pisses me of sometimes

Well theres always a reason. Maybe they had no clue it was Bubba. Maybe they were just playing for fun. Maybe they didnt want a boring gen rush match with little to no killer interaction. Maybe they felt bad for David and wanted to help.
Camping is already such a boring strat for everyone that even some survivors feel the need to interact with the killer and other survivors during the game. I wouldnt play survivor if it meant I just had to repair generators and leave every single game either.
I already don't play killer and very rarely play at all since survivor is the only role worth playing. It shouldn't be a boring match of gen rushing every game... but sometimes it is and sometimes killers will camp. All in all a boring outcome that the devs willingly accept and invite into their game because they cant fix it.
If camping weren't such a viable tactic for these players then they wouldnt do it... but the devs have to be willing to fix it first.

There are players that know how to play against him, but people that don't know how to play against Bubba are the vast majority. The ratio of good players to everyone else is a joke. 1:100? 1:200? And it's that way because the vast majority take this game casually and don't care about the ins and outs of the game.

I was going to say they are so used to basement Bubba that they do not know you need to predrop against him, but you meant they do not even know how to play against basement Bubba. Rofl. It is just a lost cause, survivors gonna survive.

He's a killer that is very good at securing kills, with the possibility of insta-downing multiple survivors with a singular attack. If he was as bad, his kill rate wouldnt be one of the highest.

I mean, you are only downing more than one if they misplay on top of a misplay. Albeit, it happens more often than you would expect, I guess. Not even counting hook trade attempts.

I am chasing a Survivor. They are injured. They are losing distance. They are running towards the pallet. I am guaranteed to make it to them under current distance.

Walk me through how I counter that.

You are free to disagree, but imo, if a killer has a consistent high pick-rate and a kill-rate, then there is something wrong.
And personally, it's because the killer gets value too easily for very little effort.

Trapper does not have the power to TELEPORT ahead of the survivor I am chasing to trap that pallet.
Ghostface's instadown means nothing if you cannot land the knife, circling back to my example.
Pig has to chase survivors to down them, as she has not yet mastered the power of the Death Note.

Trapper has the power to trap pallets PRIOR to getting into a chase. If a GF can't hit his knives, then that's literally the player's lack of skill, considering that a healthy survivor DOESNT have deadhard - making your 'example' redundant and stupid.
After Pig places a trap on a survivor's head (hell, she doesnt even need to down anyone for that anymore), chasing a survivor is ill-advised especially after Gens have popped.
I think you should be embarrassed for over-simplifying something to try to suit your argument. Every perk has a counter. Not to mention, your change of argument whilst also ignoring that you've only 'provided' 3 killers that may have an issue out of 26 killers. lol, and im the one to be embarrassed?

A Trapper cannot psychically know where a Survivor is going to go. It is not possible to trap every single pallet on the map - there is literally not enough traps. Furthermore, Trapper has no zoning power to force them into one. So yes, this example is bad.
The Ghostface can't hit his knife in my example BECAUSE of Dead Hard. Because the Survivor got a free uncounterable out with his perk. Healthy Survivors are irrelevant to the conversation because that is not how Dead Hard works.
Your trap argument has absolutely nothing to do with Dead Hard. Not to mention in order to hit that trap you need to down them, which the Dead Hard user can avoid with the very example I laid out and here we are again.
So yes, you should be embarrassed. I said it before and I will say it again: there is no counter for Dead Hard used to guarantee a pallet or window. I am not "oversimplifying" because it is not that complicated to begin with. Dead Hard is uncounterable and busted. Only a Dead Hard used as an attempted dodge can be worked around. All distance plays are unstoppable. Even an anti-exhaustion effect was nerfed to a mere 5 seconds, easily walked off.
Stop perpetuating this lie that Dead Hard for distance has a counter. It doesn't.

I dunno about you, but from what I know the trapper's pre-placed traps aren't primed, and usually spawn out in the open not at any pallets or windows. Any that appear there the trapper has to manually waddle over there with his slow movement speed and slowly place the trap down there assuming he is carrying one. Otherwise he has to waddle his way around to find a randomly placed trap and pick it up.
Kill rate doesn't make a killer good with how you can camp. Else why isn't bubba the meta for competitive and instead it's Nurse and Blight?

This is probably it. Camping Bubba every 3 or 4 games gets old reallllllly fast. And I'm not really exaggerating at the frequency I run into facecamping Bubba.

Props to the Tapp on Azarov today that ran the Bubba for the first 3 gens and then patiently waited to die in the basement so we could all get out.

1. Trapper has maybe 12 traps. (That he has to run around the map and pick up) How many pallets are there? Not even talking the pallet factory known as the game. So what, you expect him to pre-trap every pallet? How about windows? Lot of those too, also vaultable Low walls in some maps. Just not being realistic.
2. Yes, GF can expose, what he isn't is a killer with an instadown under his full control. You reveal him, he can't stalk, you don't get exposed, he's basically an m1 killer in a fancy dress at that point.
3. Right, pig has an iri addon that makes survivors start off trapped, so that means pig should never chase anyone? Again, I'm not sure you get the math here. Plenty of games with pig happen where they don't have the literal most rare addons. Also, they can get the traps off, and then what? Right, it's back to chasing, downing and hooking like every other killer.

No idea. Bubba kind of relies on survivor mistakes to be effective. Even most of those spicy chainsaw plays require the survivor to greed a pallet for you to have any chance of pulling them off.

Don't forget spirit I see way more spirits than both nurse and blight although I do have fun going against blight the other two on the other hand I'm basically screwed over because I usually get teammates who aren't good against them lol

Also to add on to 3 as a new pig main I find that add on bad as you can hat a person right as a gen pops leaving them with the choice of going for a box or a gen

You don't. But it's max of once per chase, and the Dead Hard is often not the difference between making that pallet or not. "It can't be countered" is not the best argument since it can be applied to any exhaustion perk; in all cases, the survivor is trading the perk slot for a good likelihood of a longer chase. The only difference is the activation condition.
FWIW I hate playing against Dead Hard too. Still though, it's not exactly special.
