Facecamping possible fix.
If the killer is within a certain radius of you I think the change of escaping should be higher, maybe 5x higher so a 20% escape chance. This can fix killers like leatherface facecamping where it is impossible to unhook.

If you down another surivor 32 meters away from a hooked person, they get a progression penalty (overall change that sacrifice takes longer to balance it)
Would encourage people to actually go for others to make the sacrifice faster.

You’re going to be smacked down immediately after you get off.
Besides, there’s every chance you just won’t get off anyway, which halves the time needed to kill you. That just benefits the bubba again.

So, you want to Kobe right into Bubba's waiting arms?
I don't think that this is the "fix" that you think it is.

Yeah needs a radius fix. Maybe after 50 seconds too close killer gets blinded like a torch for 10 seconds, and im a killer !

Ahh yes so I can't defend my hook against overly altruistic survs that try to rush the hook or make sure I get that last kill in the endgame where I have nothing else to do
5 -
You can defend, its about face camping, just move back a bit thats all. They post was about face camping

Give me one good reason to not stand directly in front of you if all gens are done or only one is left and I have 0 kills or the simple fact I acknowledge the survs are simply better this is my first hook after eight downs and I just want to secure that kill. Facecamping at 5 gens is scummy ######### but killers are at there weakest atm and can get bullied so easy so every of these simple fixes to facecamping will only result in killing every legitimate case of camping and will make it even easier for groups to get there consistentl 4e

Im a killer too. Never play survivor. I get 1 k every 3 or 4 games. I know what you mean. At end game i just wonder over to a fire drum and ignore them. Obviously once gate opens. Its drives them mad that i dont care. Its just a game. But my kid plays survivor, he plays nice and it guts me watching him get face camped by a killer desperate for a kill. Thats all.

There wouldn't really be a point since the killer will just down you again after you get off the hook.

Hey man I'm a survivor sometimes to I know that it sucks but that why I said camping at 5 gens sucks. But at 1 gen and 0 kills or if the gates are powered it's the right move. I'm a father two seeing my kid frustrated sucks but it's an multi-player game the killer is a gamer two that wants to succeed to maybe teach you child how to play killer so he gets a better understanding why killer camp doesn't help with the stupid guys that camp for enjoyment but helps to understand why it's the only right move sometimes

Wait; AWAY?
So Survivors get more struggle time on the hook for the Killer NOT being near the hook? Rofl, no.
No. Survivors would force the Killer to camp by being near the hook, wait for the blind, then unhook.
Survivors (I don't care if you say you're a Killer) need to stop suggesting easily-abused BS they can leverage for easy unhooks.

They get more overall, but if the killer hits someone that is 32m away from the hook, they loose progression on the hook.

Oh, I misread.
Still; I have to disagree. 2 minutes is a set time meant to pressure Survivors into acting ASAP. They don't need longer hook times while they go immerse so the Killer can't find anyone.

No thx.

In my opinion both killers and survivors have things I both hate. For example survivors loop, it's pretty much almost impossible to get out of a loop as Ghost face; and killers camp people on hooks. Nothing you can really change about them though :P

Survivors WILL abuse this, period.

He knows how to play. 3 gens, 4 unhooks, led the killer away at end game to save a team mate. But the pathetic loser killer still couldnt handle a loss and face camped. I dont need to tell him how to play. He completed doom eternal age 9, many other games before that. But thanks for the advice . I only play these games to stay in the loop. If it were up to me he wouldnt play multiplayer. Because people suck. They dont play for fun, they play to satisfy their weak ego.

The issue that comes up whenever one of these "if the killer is within x distance of hook" ideas, is that the survivors not on hook end up abusing the mechanics.
How? Basically they refuse to save, and instead every time they are in a chase once someone has been hooked, they run to and around that hook to use as a "safe" zone. Not only is that annoying for the killer player, being dragged into a lose/lose situation. It's worse for the poor schlub on the hook, watching people play ring around the Rosie while they bleed out with the sure knowledge that their team has no plans to actually rescue them.
So if the idea here is to help your son have a better time playing? I'm not sure that's the answer no matter what side he plays.

That's true but isn't that part of why people play games to have fun and flee there life for a bit and well for some that means get something for there ego

Phantom blinds are just as bad an idea as kobe chance increases. Doesn't really help the situation.

Yes, feed the bubba your hook states faster, this pleases the bubba.
