Just played a game of killer.
And it was terrible, I had more fun running around like an idiot with no mither. Killer matches for me are either boring noob stomping, or facing the sweatiest of sweats with their screen so stretched they can chart the stars while looking down. I can never seem to get 'normal' players, it's either one of the extremes and is really jarring to play. I don't know what disgusting combination MMR has brewed for this game, but it makes solo queue and killer such a different experience from what I played when I started. If you're a new player and you're reading this, I'm sorry, this game has begun the process of self destructing and while it can be fixed, if we don't start course correcting now, the games gonna go through another dark age.

MMR is causing some issue no doubt. Not sure how the hell they could fix it without making it worse for someone else.

Killer rough. Remember that as survivor

Just bring back the old rank system, it was far from perfect, but I doubt they can do anything bigger than that without messing it up.

Remember like our overlord Otzdarva said..." Killer games are determined by your MMR and a monkey throwing darts"
If you want a balanced game bribe the monkey, I did it with a Bottle of JD's and now I'm able to play many balanced Clown games to the point that I can imitate his laugh perfectly

What kinds of monkey are we talking about here? Likes apes? or new world monkeys? If it's an Orangutan, I've seen those catch banana's and throw back the peels to people.

If the devs don't make killer viable. This game won't make it. Mark my words.
90% of the killer roster is considered trash at being viable against decent players who can loop.
Just had a match as Mikey. Leon was untouchable bc of how many pallets he had, and a dirty window loop at McMillian. Untouchable.
After breaking 3 pallets, and a min chase I hit em. Exit gates power up and whud ya know, adrenaline. He gets healed for free. Then here come the rest of the team to bodyblock him to the exit safe and sound all of em. Bc if you hit any of em they get a free rocket boost to shoot them comfortably into the exit gate where they then teabag the ######### out of you.
Cool....
Fun game devs.
Thanks for making Michael Myers a floor mat.

Yes he is an Orangutan named Chester and he throws peels at people, specifically Zarina mains, but be warned if you try to negotiate with Chester the Orangutan, everytime to try and cut a deal with him the hillbilly gets nerfed

i vs ALOT of babies because idk bhvr but i just take it as an opportunity to practice things like nurse or flickbilly i still stomp because its like their first time ever playing the game so +mmr i guess but then when i go against actually really good players its extra fun cause its a decent challenge and even when im playing harder things such as flickbilly or something im more equipped to win or atleast have an evenly paced match. I dont really get the complaining about versing really sweaty players because at some point youll just get better and be able to smack them, right?

In a normal game yes but this one has an odd obsession with lopsided balance to where atm only 2 of the killer's are worth investing in and one isn't avalible now so right now.

bro its not a comp game every game or even close ive played in scrims with good teams and its not even close to pubs you can play any killer and win easily yeah maybe blight spirit and nurse are easier to win with but every killer is viable

This is why people of the community like myself have been asking for a proper practice mode with bots for years now. As it is, if you're a new player, it's like being thrown into the deep end of the pool and not knowing how to swim. Queue times will always take priority over SBMM. Even Otz has proved this. He's been training new players recently, and a player that he was training on killer was facing survivors with thousands of hours under their belt after just six matches.
Simply put, don't expect anything to change. The community keeps asking the same questions year after year because nothing changes. It's why every Q&A is seen as a pointless endeavor because nothing ever gets addressed. Behavior has been steadily losing players since October, on top of losing over half of their player base on Steam, but none of that was enough to change anything. It's almost like BHVR wants this game to crash and burn.

If it's not a comp game why keep the SBMM and seeming rely on stats at the highest level?
Also no they are not thanks to crappy basekit along with new additions that make certain playstyles not viable.

Of course is not a comp game, in a comp game they limit you to run only 1 of each item per team and no perks repeated in the same team, meanwhile you can play bingo with dh, ds, bt and ub/iw on every single pub game you play

Add any boon perks as well to that bingo sheet.
