Please make the FOV more accessible on the Killer side..
It is far too zoomed in.. Survivors get closer to the Killer.....to confuse...the Killer... That makes a lot of sense. Killer is suffering at the moment. Change the FOV and put the camera where each Killer's head is.. FOV in Shadowborn being a perk is nonsense. Please change the FOV for Killer as that is a HUGE hurdle that some cannot get over to be better with Killer. What are your thoughts?

I have mates who get motionsick from games with fov beneath 90.

I understand. 2 of the 3 of my really close friends can't even watch me play as Killer due to the FOV. My mom also LOVES the Horror genre as a whole and she was so excited to see Pinhead get in, but she too couldn't enjoy watching me play as him due to the FOV in this game. It really sucks. I wish they would realize the FOV for Killer in this game actually stops people from even trying it out due to that wonky way too zoomed in FOV.. Here is to hoping...

This should have been fixed a long time ago. Why is our vision so restricted? It's created an entire meta of survivors playing fov mindgames with the killer, claiming skill, when we should be able to see them clearly in the first place.

To be fair 1 those mindgames are very much intentional in this state of game and you need to have some kind of skill and especially game knowledge on both sides to get this done. And this is maybe even one of the reasons why they do not just change it.
though agreed just out of accessibility and quality of life reasons they should definitely adjust FoV for killers, especially as Controller players are suffering probably a little more because they don’t have the sensitivity of mouse controls..

I got motion sickness even playing Bubba. I was going for his Adept so couldn't use Shadowborn. FOV handicap and terrible controller options is another reason not to spend more money on this game. Accessibility is just not a priority. I wonder if someone has to end up in ER before they put an epilepsy warning on the game.

Not being able to stalk as Myers when survivor is right up next to you is ######### stupid.
also, not being able to look around when exiting a window for high up is ######### stupid too.

That's why alot of us want a cool down on flashlights so that flashlight squads can't macro can cause actual harm to players by machine gun clicking. The game may not die because of the state of the current game but if a army of people who had serious issues caused by epilepsy. No warning means free money in lawsuits and if enough people sue them the game will die because the company will go bankrupt.

I'm pretty sure FoV is directly tied into gameplay. That's why shadowborn is a thing.

Well this is the same argument I have for certain things like DS having skill checks, or having to time pallet stuns and flashlight saves. You're putting 'skill' into areas in which skill doesn't have a place being there. If someone misses their DS or didn't time their dropping a pallet on the killer, I guess they just weren't skilled, right? No, it's ridiculous. We should be pushing for skill in loops, not borderline exploits like abusing fov and crap.

This is something I wish was changed, killers are already first person why should they have a tiny FOV on top of it.

Then I guess they should realize it wasn't as good of a game idea to begin with. Just fix the FOV and make it more accessible. Let more people try Killer out. It would certainly get rid of that unrealistic 360 tech that completely ruins the immersion as Killer. The Survivor gets closer to you...so you lose track of the Survivor.. Nobody can tell me that even thinking that sentence makes sense...

though,the game does look sick with shadowborn,try it for yourself and you will not want to go back

Agreed. Either make Shadowborn base for Killers in general or give us a FOV slider. Even just standing back and looking at the game objectively, its obvious when seeing Survivors get that close to the Killer on purpose and the Killer losing them looks so stupid. Like huh? What just happened? Audience and player immersion simultaneously gone.

I know is great but I have to choose if I want to play with SB and deal with Windows when I play Billy,or use that slot on Bamboozle and keep playing with this awful Fov.... IMO, not having Fov settings on a Game with 6 years .... Yeah, thanks Behaviour

Bingo. Neither of them make any sense anyway. They talked about adding more immersion to the environments and game in general during the last anniversary, and doing this would be one of the easiest ways to do it in terms of "game feel", especially as Killer.
