Revert blink charge time
I think nurse blinks shouldn't have to charge because it makes dealing with w warriors really dumb. The charge mechanic really feels like a longer stun for nurse rather than actually making her play different. At most only the second blink should have to recharge considering the first is her only efficient way of map traversal.

The cooldown is what "balances" Nurse, it should stay

Nurse is the strongest killer in the game and you want to buff her?
5 -
Yes, I personally think all the killers should be buffed. Also she's the best chaser but blight has better map pressure on most maps.

This game has no balance lol

Just buffing all killers will be miserable for solo survivors. We gotta think about both sides here.
3 -
She can literally go through walls
3 -
There is literally zero reason to buff the nurse.
If anything her recharge addons need to be nerfed
3 -
The game might not be fully balanced, but it's in the second best state it's ever been

Buffing nurse would cement how inept the devs are

Original circle of healing tought me me that lesson. Considering self cares popularity before circle of healing. Then releasing a perk with normal healing speeds (unlike selfcares 50%) that but 100% more healing as well.

Nurse got a 3rd Blink Add-on, I think we're past that point

Fair point. If they actually buff her base kit though I will never play this game again period

As a iridescent...which is supposed to be strong. Even if a killers strong that doesn't mean their addons should be garbage. The original iridescent 3rd blink was utter garbage and made it so nurse couldn't blink through objects. Now it's actually worth its placement as a iri.

Old Iridescent Head was balanced then, right?

Pretty big difference as iri head still has its uses especially with the current iri. Huntress doesn't move slower than survivors and wouldn't have her entire power made useless because of the addon on maps like lerys because nurse couldn't blink through objects. The level of power between them is a lot. Nurse may be overall stronger but iri head was way stronger in value then nurses 3rd blink ever was. Just as a reminder:
A white and pristine piece of ribbon once attached to a sacred book. Serves as the symbol of a dispute.
- Adds 1 Blink Charge.
- The Nurse is unable to Blink to a Target location she does not have direct line-of-sight to.
The longer recharge is its own drawback as well as it allows survivors plenty of time to get away from the nurse even when stacked with the green. Adding a longer cooldown to nurse blink changes how the game plays believe it or not. And if you look back my opinion on iri head was a more popular alternative to make it like slingers coin and let you oneshot past 16 meters. To reward huntress for snipe shots. So my overall view on iri heads level of power currently is not good.

She doesn’t need buffs, she’s in a state of complete perfect balance.

Honestly, Nurse should have never had a recharge mechanic simply because her fatigue was literally her recharge state and she had full control over how long it lasted simply because
1 blink = 2s of fatigue
Additional blinks = +0.5s
Swing after a blink = +0.5s
Lung after blink = +1s
Whiff after a blink = +1s
But of course this was something BHVR over looked and decided to stack a cooldown on top of a cooldown for the sake of there precious kids the survivors

I had to use this add-on for that one achievement, because little ole' me didn't do it before Nurse's nerf.
I did get it, but it wasn't the best of experiences.

People are going to flip out at the suggestion, HOWEVER: the base recharge time without add ons is a bit too long. You aren't catching anyone who knows how to play against Nurse at a high level without at least one recharge add on. At least not in a timely manner.
Her add-ons are mostly bad-ons. She has about 5 good ones and the rest are niche or outright bad if you actually know how to play her. The fatigue isn't a consequential mechanic after a certain point on Nurse. It's genuinely not something I ever think about in terms of tracking.
I feel like I'm always locked into a mandatory add on with recharge. 99.9% of the time I'm running double recharge. That or range+recharge. Everything else is garbage or hilariously broken (3 blink+recharge)

Yall ever watch old Nurse games and think “Wowsers, that looked so easy” compared to current Nurse? And people back then said she was sooo difficult. Pffffftttt
0 -
Yes and now it’s broken as hell on an already broken killer. I wouldn’t say that’s a good thing tbh
0 -
Honestly 5 blink nurse was probably one of the easiest things in dbd period
1 -
People only run recharge and range because they are by far her best add ons. But even without them her recharge is pretty minuscule and only helps W gamers really
0 -
I mean...if they aren't trying to create a lot of distance, then they aren't playing against Nurse correctly, in which case the add ons are moot. Every killer is fine at base if the survivors don't know what they're doing
2 -
Her blink tokens are the only thing separated good nurse players from the bots. It would let a bad nurse just endlessly spam blinks and get you down no matter what.
0 -
Really good Nurses are already OP. Removing the blink charge time would be broken af imo. I think the Nurse currently actually needs some nerfing.
0 -
I don’t think Nurse needs a buff, but I do hate playing her because staring at the ground half the match is super irritating. I’d probably play her if she kept her head up during the blink stun, even if they compensated by slowing down her refresh slightly.

That‘s fair. That aspect of nurse never really bothered me but I see what you’re saying.
