What if... And hear me out, survivors also had to play in first person?
Just as the tittle says... It seems to me it'd be more fair... Maybe even more fun, if anyone cares about fun in DBD anymore.
Sitting on a gen? Who knows where the killer is, use your ears.
Want to 360? Enjoy the vertigo.
Looping tiles with LOS blockers? Suddenly a lot more stressful.
etc., etc...

I suggested this as a option for survivors to make the game scarier on themselves as a choice. Just like no mither after all. I don't see why it's not a option for you. It'd make the game a lot more interesting to me for a little bit at least. Maybe give some horror ascetic back.

I think it'd be an interesting and spooky experience for survivors. I would play stealth killers exclusively just to torture survivors when I get the drop on them :P.

for an april fools update,make killers third person,and survivors first person,it would be funny
edit:it would also make animations that you usually dont get to see first person(demogorgon pounce,portal entry) see-able.
the only way i knew that ghostface actually gets surprised of a survivor he found and only then grabs him was because of twitch matches.
also give killers some buffs(demogorgon,twistable camera whilst in the upside down so you can position your exit)

The game isn’t built around first person for survivors. It’d be miserable.

That's like survivors main power against the killer, awareness of the area around them vs killer tunnel-vision. Even with the increased visibility, the killer has to have a red spotlight shining out of his face.
Also survivors don't want a scary game, they want an easy game.

Imagine if a killer had a new status effect that made survivors first-person. It could be exclusive to one killer.
