Please Stop Blocking End Game Chat With Rift Progression
While a Rift is in progress when you gin a Rift Level or just get progression towards your current Challenge you have to wait for the various bars to fill up before you can use end game chat even though the chat entry line is not visually blocked by the pop-out for the Rift stuff.
Please remove the "always on top" priority of this pop-out so that we can use the end game chat right away and THEN check our Rift progress if we want to. There have been several games where I've wanted to use chat right away but had to wait for the animations to finish and by then either the person I wanted to say something has left or there is already a conversation going on from the people who didn't have as much progress as me and I need to play catch up.
We have a very limited amount of time in end game chat before the server shuts down so wasting ANY of it feels bad. Whereas I can check my Rift progress after the game is done at any time I like so it is not time sensitive.

I think it is wrong design that this pops out by hovering as well. Tooltips are activated by hovering, this is the only "control" like button type that activates by hovering over it. it should only be opening when you click on it

Agreed.
I can't see anything with chat at the end of the match with all the stuff that pops up on that side of the screen.
