Will the games accuracy ever be improved?
I mean if fortnite(of all games) can have 100 people in a lobby and be more accurate then I’m pretty sure DBD can bring it up to scratch… ps I don’t have bad ping.

What exactly do you mean by accuracy here?
Characters have hitboxes so you don't have to be completely accurate to the character model - otherwise if character hitboxes were all different sizes Survivors for example would only play the smaller characters.

I would assume this is about 360s and aim-assist which can be kinda frustrating for new players. And me.

thats exactly we are questioning, because huntress and nemesis hitboxes have a size of bus.

They don’t though. They have normal correctly sized hitboxes. What you’re confused on is latency, which is unavoidable.

Major problem with DBD though: Killers with bad Internet get an unfair advantage. Validation sucks.

Lately the game's accuracy with character placements in the server is even worse than usual- its so frustrating to play when you cant judge it properly.

YeahxI remember one match I was lagging a lot and I totally owned toxic flashlight squad they could not do nothing I just always hit them and some of them even seemed to like blame in the game they probably thought ai was hacking. It was one of my easiest game of my life so probably I should try to play more with bad connection.

I feel like I'm always punished for the killer having terrible ping and I feel we should be punishing such, not rewarding it... it cannot be intended, and I feel for the health of the game something should be done about it.

Yeah.. The game can be accurate with hitboxes if you see Tricksters knives or Slinger's spear passing through tiny holes

I feel that. That happens to me quite often as well and I don't have bad ping or anything. (I have 40ms)

Hit Validation has been a little bit odd lately, but we're also getting frequent rubber-banding on Survivor and Killer. I'm in the camp that the hit validation issues are currently tied to what's causing rubber banding. (Something is different in the net code and it's having downstream effects)
