DBD will die unless...

1) Remove SBMM and add in a competitive/casual mode. Disable SWF and super strong perks in competitive like COH, dead hard, Noed, etc. You might say this will split the playerbase, but it is better than losing all your players, and you probably would have more in the long-run on each side regardless from doing this even if it's cut in half temporarily.

2) Get creative with new killers, no more boring frankenstein monster design/powers where you just copy + paste 2 weaker versions of old killers together (looking at u sadako). Need a killer who can mind control survivors, summon monsters, etc. Too many killers just feel the same as others, and it is boring.

3) Perk point system to balance perks, increase slots to 8 for both sides and make each perk cost between 1-4 points based on strength. This is obvious considering how unbalanced perks in DBD currently are.

    I’m a little convinced they should do what Ark is doing a create a DBD 2. For cleaner code and game balance. The current one is a jumbled mess of so many visions for the game that trip over each other

    Remove every pallets out of game and block all windows.

    And this game will balanced.

    12) Allow Killers to equip 8 perks (1 extra for each survivor would not hurt at all, in the end they have 16 while u only have 4 RIGHT NOW).

    The biggest joke would be to disable perks and swf in the COMPETITIVE mode (instead of balancing there for them) and then leave them on in the CASUAL mode so killer who would want to play relaxed CASUAL would be the ONLY ones to get hard curb stomped.

    Sadako is literally what people have been asking for over a year now tho: old Freddy with the ability to teleport to gens. And it's actually quite strong(definitely stronger than people like you think).

    SWF also isn't an issue, nor are the perks you mentioned, that would actually destroy DBD much more than you imagine. Because why play dbd if you can't play with friends once in a while? Let alone that the perks you mentioned mainly have issues of annoyance, where they are too strong in specific scenarios, but over the course of 50 games such a scenario would only happen 2-3 times.


    SBMM needs to be looked at, the player base has only been dropping since the introduction of SBMM. So clearly it is the issue. It might have made games more fair and more consistent, but considering you can cheese into high MMR with certain killers very easily, and you can drop MMR very easily as a survivor(all that needs to happen is an unlucky streak of being facecamped and being left to die on hook a few times, solo survs die 15% more often than swf, even in high MMR).

    So that needs to be looked at.

    Sounds u actually new to game... If you will remove DH people will use a lot more Sprint burst and Lithie, good luck xD

    number 3 is dumb... number 2 is dumb thats the reason the game is dying the push updates new killers etc. but they dont fix the game

    SB is easy to counter lithe sucks its just a worse sprint burst... literally half the killers can counter sprint burst pretty effective, bubba, hillbilly, hag, nurse(kinda), blight, huntress, deathslinger, spirit, demo (okay), oni(ok obv you cant turn that fast but), onryo is decent, twins, legion i guess

    yes she is but circle of healing counters her so she isnt any thing new she isa basic m1 killer without any power at all... becasue teleporting and playing hit and run doesnt work...

    Removing the option to swf in DBD would drive many people away. Also, sweaty SWFs would abuse the casual mode to bully killers who actually wanna play casually. Killer would do the same to solo survivors.


    The perk system is fine imo, it's just that the perk tiers are really outdated and unnecessary nowadays.

    Developer arrogance and an obvious reluctance to really addresss the main issues of the game? Horrific que times outside of patches? There's several others but point made. The reality is this games been the same since release without any real major changes at all and it is suffering for it. It is dying whether you admit it or not.

    Start the trial with all survivors hooked relying on 4%. Problem solved for the killer mains and dbd stays alive.

    I promise you if they did, everybody would just play comp. Killers sweat just as hard as survivors, there are simply more survivors then killers.

    Nothing will kill DBD faster then removing SWF. The vest majority of survivors are SWF. If you win regularly at all as killer you are beating at least 2 if not 3 swf at a time regularly. When killers say they hate swf what they really mean is they just want to verse solo Q brainless survivors, that any killer with more then 20 hours should easly beat. They don't want a challenge, despite themselves being experienced. Regardless if you remove SWF, There will not be enough survivors for killers.

    Unfortunately the DBD community likes things to be predictable. So many killers need an ability for the chase, for map pressure ect, instead of being able to create original killers they are limited on what they can design, to meet the expectation of the players. Essentially the dbd community believes the strength of the killer is more important then the actual design of killer.

    Congratulations, you just killed killer. Ok applying your logic, I a survivor will run, dead hard, 4 points, That's it. Killers will still be unhappy with that. Now I a killer, corupt intervention, 4 points, Hex Ruin 3 points, and your basically capped, undying would be at least 2 points if not 3, pop would be 3 points, Do you see the issue?

    Overall the majority of your ideas would kill this game overnight
