Killers don't have many decent anti-healing perks other than sloppy butcher

Survivors have a lot of healing perks while killers don't have many perks to counter it.

I kind of agree this is understandable as survivors take 16s by default to heal while killers can wound them in 1s (3s if you count the animation cooldown), but I wish I had other good anti-healing perks instead of just using sloppy butcher to at least try to counter the new meta a bit.

SC: GIFT OF PAIN: I believe it doesn't count cuz it's just a sloppy butcher on a hook

DYING LIGHT: its effect is too little to be threatening even if stacks

COULROPHOBIA: this perk is very situational

PENTIMENTO: no one uses pentimento except for the gen slowdown, besides it's very difficult to keep two totems because the effect of the first one is more devastating.

I would love to see other good anti-healing perks, to be honest I wish COULROPHOBIA was a hex, I believe it would be balanced just because it is a totem. I would also like to see some sort of DESPERATE MEASURES in reverse for killer, the more injured survivors the longer they would take to heal, it could be a 5% or 6% penalty, it would be like old thanatophobia.

I think we could have more anti-healing perks.

Coulrophobia is pretty good when they're actually in the terror radius. It especially helps when somebody tries to revive a player from the dying state, and they can't make it, so now you get two downs.

What I think it needs, is a small-medium duration lingering effect even after they leave the heartbeat.

Not directly an anti healing perk but nurses calling is nice to see where they heal and just stop them yourself.

Also before anybody else makes this comment:

Play Plague, you can't heal what'd broken (to a degree, since she also comes with free heals at every fountain.)

Dying Light is especially useless. Across the team the maximum debuff it applies is 12-4% (factoring in that it only affects 3/4, 2/3 or 1/2 of the team) and that's before even considering that it buffs the obsession's healing. For most of the match it's a net gain in healing speed for the survivor team as a whole.

It takes too long to build up for too little effect.

Dying Light simply isn't worth the effect it provides when it actively buffs the obsession throughout the match, and encourages you to not go for them since killing them disables the perk.

Your obsession has a 33% healing buff from the start, meanwhile its penalty does nothing at the beginning and only starts stacking up later on. By the time you get a substantial number of tokens, you've usually either already won, or you lose way before that ever happens. It also usually isn't negatively affecting more than 2 survivors at a time assuming that you ignore the obsession for the majority of the match (eg. you're chasing 1 survivor who isn't your obsession while the other 3 are doing gens), while the obsession heals people faster all game (33% cuts about 4 seconds off of a standard heal).

You didn’t even mention the most powerful of all: Deathbound! 🤣

From my perspective though, I do think there is good enough variety and options. Don’t forget that almost every killer (if not all, not sure) has a mangled add-on as well. So you can save a perk slot by using those. The only exception where I think killers need more help is the dying state - particularly, countering Unbreakable and WGLF. I made a forum topic proposing some Deerstalker buffs to address that.

I wouldn’t mind if Coulrophobia had the lingering effect mentioned above though. You might be surprised how well it actually works with Distressing and/or Monitor & Abuse.
