Why is 1 tapping generators still allowed?
Killers have to waste time kicking gens and the survs can just tap it to stop the regression, can we like add a skillcheck for taps please so they cant keep tapping them over and over.
It's becoming annoying and more annoying when survivors can keep tapping it over and over whilst their SWF does all the other gens and you can't do anything about it.

that exists already. It's called Overcharge. There's a reason it doesn't get used, either.

Overcharge doesn't work as intended... IMO
Gen Tapping only stops Regression... But the Regression is so low that it doesn't even matter
I'm beginning to think that the fact that there are 7 Gens on a map that they all need to be done
But the Devs will only see the Pick rates and Kill rates... and that's what "balance" is centered around

I've said that the Base Regression needs to be higher... But we got a perk (Call Of Brine) instead

Hell they could even add a mini pop to the kick, maybe like 2% per kick even that would stop the survivors tapping it.

I mean if I'm using call of brine then regression is really powerful.
2 seconds per charge lost ain't bad. But a single tap to stop sucks. And overcharge is garbage.

So all of these band-aid perks are cause the Devs don't want to change the Base Game

I don’t even care about balance per se, it’s just really silly looking that a survivor can, midchase, just tap their hand instantly on a generator and it stops regressing. At a minimum it really should require a two second action to stabilize it and start improving its progress if you continue holding after that.

I agree with this. It should act like old Hex:Ruin or missed skill check. For a few seconds, progress pauses while you "fix" the gen being kicked. If you let go, you must do this again, but you won't make the gen blow up.

And the multitude of perks and addons that allow the killer to see the exact position and direction they are heading to basically across the entire map

Another reason why there is more value in tunneling someone from a match than kicking a gen.

Repair speed has literally been "feathered" by a nerf and nothing major.
Perk from Sadako is useless because as the title says they can still 1 tap it to stop the regression.
15% instantly which requires a scourge hook, 15% which can be repaired back in seconds and if you're unlucky scourge hooks will all be on one side of the map.

I was thinking something in this vein. Your must work on a regressing generator for X seconds before it stops regressing and progress resumes. Generators affected by a perk affecting regression (Ruin/ Brine) increase this time accordingly.
