    Nah, the perk is fine as it is. It has only one good combo: pain resonance. Killers can't camp and get value from dead man's switch... unless they are artist. But that's more of a "one killer and one perk" interaction problem.

    If it worked like that it wouldn't be that much better than the original iteration of it which wasn't good.

    DMS on it's own isn't too strong

    The only gen regression perk that it's okay with is Pain res, only because it forces survivors off the gen and then blocks the gen. Once you are aware both are in play, countering it becomes extremely predictable.

    Wait for the hook, continue working on it until either the killer forces you off somehow or you need to go for a save. Either way the generator might be blocked but it's also not regressing.

    The fact it's 45 seconds is a good thing, because it means it has negative synergy with pop goes the weasel (aka probably the most common gen regression perk next to ruin)
