Trapper chase music glitching/cutting out

I was just in a match and throughout close proximity the chase music did not play naturally, it was cutting out a lot depending on actions by other survivors.
Play against Trapper
Character: Yun
Perks: Kindred, Self-Care, BT, Distortion

Had this happen with, uhh... I think Hag, as well as (I think) Plague and a couple of others. Legion? Basically, it happens a bunch, and randomly, with no clue trigger.

After this happened I tried verifying game files in Steam. I had a few matches with other killers (Nurse, Huntress, Hag) and didn't notice it again.
